So, this is a different kind of post, but I wanted to share that my home burned down.
Everybody is safe, except for our cat.

Sadly, nearly my entire video game collection, that took me the better part of nine years to build, has been completely destroyed. I only saved my Switch and my 3DS. Everything else is gone. I'm devastated.

Very sorry to hear this man..... Glad the family is okay though.  I know it's hard to not focus on all that was lost, but take some comfort in knowing you still have each other. Best wishes

That is awful. Someone I work with had this happen to them, I know it's rough. Don't be afraid to ask people for help, it's needed at times like this.

One of my bigger fears, since I don't live in a place where tornado's or hurricanes really ever happen, I am sorry this fear came true in your case. I am sad your cat didn't make it but the humans are safe and thats the important part. Best of luck on moving on to the next step and building a new and maybe even better tomorrow.

I'm sorry to hear about this devastating event that happened. I can't imagine the loss you must be facing at the moment. I myself was in a house that caught on fire when I was a kid, 1/4 of my house burned from a kitchen fire. I understand that stuff can leave you emotionally distraught for quite some time. I hope there are local friends and family that can help you out. I sincerely wish you luck in your recovery.
