- The Portuguese Purple games were released on 1995 by the Portuguese SEGA distributor ECOFILMES Lda.
- This Purple cover games uses European and Brasilian (from TecToy) versions that are repacked by ECOFILMES, wich includes:
- Sticker on front cover with label Garantia SEGA Portugal
- Complete new design of the artwork of the cover
- Portuguese Manual
- There were a total of 15 confirmed Portuguese Purples released. The back cover of the Portuguese Master System III reveals a 16th game, Taz in Escape from Mars, but it was only released in Brasil by TecToy
- Ecofilmes did not changed the original game name from the Brazilian distributor TecToy. The correct name in Portuguese should be GAME BOX Série Desportos
