I never got into Night Court, mostly because my parents wouldn't let me watch it as a kid. It was "too adult" for me. I've never gone back and watched it.

I never got into Night Court, mostly because my parents wouldn't let me watch it as a kid. It was "too adult" for me. I've never gone back and watched it.

Wow, my parents were quite the opposite. When the new episodes premiered on NBC, they let me stay up past my usual 9 PM bedtime so I could watch. It didn't hurt that two local independent stations played Night Court reruns five days a week in the late afternoon/early evening. I must have watched every episode from the first five or six seasons at least three times each.

ANYway, I have about 5 episodes to go. For my next marathon of beloved 1980s TV, I'm split between watching the first season of Airwolf, or the first season of The Golden Girls.

Just finished the first season of Night Court a few days ago, and now I've moved on to...

...the second season of Night Court.

Not sure if I'll move on to season three, or catch the first season of Taxi instead...

After finishing season 3 of Cobra Kai I decided to rewatch the anime High Score Girl. I think I'm 11 episodes in at this point. So good.

Had some issues with getting High Score Girl to show up on Netflix for a couple days, so I also started season 3 of Castlevania.

Just caught the first trailer for Sonic 2. It actually looked kinda... interesting... if a bit corny in parts. No shortage of nods to various Sonic games to be sure.

I thought the introduction of Knuckles was neat, and fun that Tails has his plane. I still haven't seen the 1st one, but this certainly looks promising.

I found it intriguing enough that I considered watching all the breakdown analyses and YouTuber reaction videos that started popping up immediately after the trailer dropped. Fortunately, I came to my senses almost as quickly as the thought entered my mind.


ANYway, thanks to my viewing of the Sonic 2 trailer, the YouTube algorithm recommended the teaser to the upcoming Sonic Frontiers game:

Well that was rather vague. I mean, nice visuals and all, but... no gameplay footage to speak of? Very suspicious. BTW the teaser's ending leads me to believe the primary "frontier" is the world of Shadow of the Colossus.

On another note: I betcha can't guess which season of Night Court I'm marathoniong right now...
