Welcome, mikenac!  Happy game hunting, and I hope you enjoy the forums and collection tools!

The collection tool is amazing. I was very surprised to find out you can even put the systems themselves and accessories into the collection! I have all of my systems in it now and all of my games except for original xbox, xbox 360, and psp.

Hello

I don't tend to share my name on forum boards, but I am 27, male, and I have been playing video games since I was little. The first games I remember playing were on the Atari 2600. Pitfall, Pac-Man, Breakout, Pong, etc.

I didn't actively start collecting until about 5 years ago when I met my (now) wife. When we moved out, she supported and has even helped me in my collecting venture. She pretty much controls the PS1 part of the collection. Now that we have our own house, we have a room completely dedicated to the collection which has grown to well over 800 games and 15 consoles.

Anyway, that's about it. Glad to be here.

Hi Tastyyogurt - welcome to RFG. It sounds like you have quite a booming collection going there. It must be nice to have a wife that is on board with it. My wife tolerates my hobby, but I often get eye rolls. For someone so young, it's interesting that the 2600 was still your first gaming exposure. I suppose the things are so ubiquitous that they are probably hard not to encounter at some point.

It was the first console  my dad had bought and he and I played the games on it all the time. Then came NES, then Sega and SNES and so on. I was introduced into gaming at a very young age and I've never strayed away from it since.

And my wife loves gaming just as much as I do. Her games being Spyro, Diablo, DOOM, and various others.

Sorry D: I posted in the shop thread before I introduced myself.

My name is James.  I go by JSR to my friends Smiley

I am a video game collector and retro game speedrunner, and all around nerd.
In fact, I am one of the 2 Broke Gamers (...and a Nerd) podcast (on iTunes for free!) which casts bi-monthly.

I came to RFG via the collection tools and trackers, and found a FANTASTIC forum that seems pretty awesome!

So here I am Smiley
