If it's what I think it is, then I'll definitely be in. Been on my backlog for a long time.

Is it Axiom Verge?

Oh man, if it is, I will have to play along! One of my favorite indie games.

EDIT: Yep, it's Axiom Verge. Time to break out the Switch version!

This should be interesting, I never booted this game up before.  Didn't know it was a metrovania game.. I suck at these, I get lost all the time, let's see if I can finish one finally.

It's not too bad and there is a map which shows the empty spaces that need to be filled to 100%, much like SotN

And the Wii U version allows you to see the map on the Game Pad, which is a great feature.

I'm playing on the WiiU. Many things I love about this game. The music is phenomenal and I love the graphics on a big HD screen.

I started the game a few weeks ago and got through maybe four or five of the areas relatively quickly, but lately I've been spinning my wheels. I may have to look up a walkthrough because the last three times I fired up the game I made zero progress. I'm not a huge fan of 'what the hell do I do next' games but I was really cruising with this one so I'd like to stick with it.

I dropped the ball on the last couple of playthroughs (although I still intend to finish them), but I think this game is much more in my wheelhouse and have a good feeling about it. Looking forward to starting this one
