In Episode 022, Addicted and MetalFRO cover a shooting game from a company that published several, but only ever developed one. The company was Telenet, the shmup was Gaiares. This well-loved classic has its supporters, and its detractors, but frequently comes into the conversation when discussions about the best shooters from the 16-bit era are had. We pick apart the game, and determine why it's still worth playing today.

I posted this over at RetroGameBoards but I am also copy and pasting this over here since I made an account on RFgeneration.

We certainly hope we won’t disappoint! Let us know what you think - we would appreciate the feedback

I've listened to a few of your podcasts now and they helped pass the time on one long overnight shift, but I will have to say they are not quite for me and I was a little disappointed.

Out of the ones I have listened to the original R-type episode was enjoyed the most.

I will give my feedback below in spoiler tags as it may seem rather harsh which is not the intention:

This all said the recording equipment you are using seems great and recording levels are perfect!
I definitely enjoy episodes more when titles I have familiarity with are discussed.
