Finished it Saturday night. However, I've still been playing it. I'd like to get the alternate ending and I flew around and grabbed all the collectables. Currently ranked 49 and want to get up to 50 to fill out all of the skills. I might have a problem....

So, I only got a chance to play this for like a week early in the month because I got it from the library and wasn't able to get it again...
But, here are my thoughts as I don't think I'll be able to get it again before the end of the month.
I never thought I was much for open world games, but this is one of the first ones I've played since Breath of the Wild. I'm totally down now. The mechanics for earning money by buying property, the various gangs to fight, all of the oddity in the weapons and side missions... Holy cow. I've seen a lot of the odd things this game offers from various images around the Internet, but I'm totally on board.
The next time I can find this at a decent price, it's on my list.

I did finish the game. At the end the missions got crazy! This is not as large as gta 4 but still has a lot to do. I'm not a fan of the helicopter missions, the aiming seems off.

I think it's time for me to tap out. I tried this evening, and I'm not kidding here, to finish one of the escort missions, around 25 times. 25. TIMES. I can't drive to save my life, and the Switch digital controls for driving don't help. I get the mission almost complete, and then it asks me to do something like a power slide, when I'm in an area where there's nowhere to accomplish that. I try to go to another area to do it, and I get swarmed by news vans, and almost immediately lose. Or I get asked to get airtime with the car, and of course, I can't evade the vans long enough to accomplish it. Sometimes, nearly the second after I pick up a client, there's a van waiting for me, crashing into my car as I'm trying to pull away. I can't move forward without finishing this mission, but after wasting the last 2 hours on this, I'm not doing it any longer. Sorry, but this game isn't for me. It's more foul and vulgar than I bargained for, and while I had some fun with the combat, and the story had a few funny beats to it, I'm not enjoying it enough to warrant the time. Maybe I'll come back to this at some point, but for now, I'm too frustrated with it. I feel like Shawn did during the golf tournament, playing Neo Turf Masters - I'm not fond of the guy I become when I'm playing this game, and rather than do the square peg/round hole routine, I'm just going to quit before I get any more bent out of shape.

Oh boy, I was trying to suppress that memory LOL.
Man, I totally get it. Those missions were tough. So many times you get buried in other vehicles to the point where you can't even move. It is a frustration for sure. Also, the one where you start near the airport, there's a small fountain near the start of the mission and even though the water is about two inches deep it will end the mission if you touch it saying the vehicle was destroyed. Believe it or not I failed a few times because of this.
I'm glad you were here to share, though. I know for sure I will never touch the Switch version of this game because of the driving controls.

Funny enough I didn't mind the driving controls on the switch. There was a little bit of a conditioning to get used to the all or nothing digital controls, but I picked up a method pretty quickly. My only issue with the switch port was with fires and explosions not appearing on the screen in the line of sight of the character and only on the left and right sides of the screen. This wasn't game breaking per se, however it did add to a lot of frustration on a particular mission in the restricted/quarantined zone...

Speaking of frustrating bulls@%t, let talk about that level with the running zombies. My gawd, I've never yelled at the TV so much because I simply could not move. Glad that was only one level or I might have tapped out

That’s the one I was talking about too! Just trying not to spoil it for those who haven’t made it their yet. But it is so much more frustrating when you can’t see the flames on the zombies that are on fire!

I was so pissed that my 8-year-old son had to tell me to calm down.

I decided not to be a rage quitter, so I went back to the game. Apparently, on Easy difficulty, if you fail a story mission enough times, it will bypass it and move on. I moved forward a couple missions, but now I’m stuck on The Ho Boat. It’s in the “Kill Attackers” phase, but I’ve done that. It’s not moving on to where Pierce comes with the helicopter. I’ve scoured the boat, and can’t find any more baddies to take out. Anyone else run into this?

Not with the ho boat mission, but there were a couple missions that I remember not loading right. One particular one that comes to mind is the BDSM club. I wasn’t able to go into the “stables” due to the door leading down there not opening. I had to restart from a checkpoint and then it worked correctly.

I restarted the mission from the checkpoint multiple times, and even started it over completely, and the result was the same every time. Either it's a bug, or I'm missing something. I might watch a walkthrough on that mission, to see if there's something else I need to do. The last time I tried it, I shot down all 4 helicopters, destroyed all boats and jetskis, and as far as I can tell, took out all Morningstar gang members on the boat, and even a couple that were floating in the water offshore that I picked off with the sniper rifle.
