Totally Rad done.

This game is definitely not as bodacious as it makes out but it’s not totally bogus either. A mediocre platformer.
Interestingly there are no collectable power ups. The character has a magic meter which can be used to replace health, grant temporary invincibility etc. You can also turn into 3 animals at the cost of magic. Animals have stronger attacks but can’t use other spells so you have to turn back to the human (using up no magic) in order to heal etc.
The game isn’t too hard. Pretty sure you get infinite continues. A few practice runs on each level is enough to see them beaten

Not the best pic, but
Wrecking Crew
is done. Loops after phase 100. Some really intricate, challenging level designs in the later stages of the game.

Lists are all cleaned up and up to date. Thanks for catching my errors shaggy!
@Fokakis79 - That "skull" is actually a bee. Its the Hudson Soft mascot/logo. The Adventure Island games are so tough I don't think I could beat them without getting that myself.
@schilbby - I love Totally Rad. I grew up renting it a lot and have a big soft spot for it.
@EZ Racer - yeah some of those stages later in Wrecking Crew are real tests of patience and some pretty crazy timing puzzles. Well done!
You guys rule! Had a busy weekend, but hoping to put some more time into L'Empereur again today.

Oh yeah, the one hit kills are really punishing. And later levels play on the fact that you have to eat food so you don't die either. Some levels if you miss any fruit or meat you will not reach the end of the stage before you starve to death. Yeah there is no way I could do it either. The controls aren't bad so that helps, although they are a little slippery at times. It is a fun game at least and they do make it enjoyable to play with the right amount of challenge and charm
BTW Bram Stoker's Dracula isn't half bad, at least so far. The music is a slight mess in parts but it is quite fun as side-scrolling platformer. I expected a lot worse coming from a movie based game.

Started taking a look at Tecmo NBA Basketball, even though at the beginning of the year cverz had started it. Question about completion requirement. Like many sports games, the player can sim some of the matchups, and with the reg season 82 games, in some ways is expected to. Is every game expected to be played to be considered beaten? Or just enough to win the championship?

Dracula has been vanquished! Bram Stoker's Dracula is Finished. Its an okay game like I said before. Its challenging but there are plenty of shortcuts ammo, health, and 1ups to keep you going. I mean Game Over is highly likely. and I believe its one of those the more you practice the farther you get each time. Lots of bosses with patterns that just have to learn.
BTW the timer is a huge issue on the last stage but if you have about a minute and half you can most certainly pull off a win. I had to die on purpose so I could continue with more time on the clock because the clock does not reset after loss of a life.
BTW Fred Fuchs

I don't have experience with this game so I'll leave the judgement to you if you like. I'd assume you'd have to play enough to ensure you get to the finals and then maybe play the finals?
Nice job Fokakis79! Definitely not as bad as some of the other licensed games. Fred Fuchs ftw!!!
I've been putting some serious time into L'Empereur again over the last couple days. Woke up at 3 am today and just couldn't sleep so I went on a huge campaign against Spain and England and made some incredible progress finally. Feeling like a sure thing and hopefully today even I can finish this off.

Was able to get a few victories much quicker than I thought it would take and finished off L'Empereur just now! Wowee-Zowee it took a lot longer than I thought it would. Curious to know the full time once I edit the videos together, but my guess is around 40 hours. I couldn't figure out a way to cheat the CPU in this one and just had to learn the game inside and out which meant a lot of sloppy play at the beginning until I figured out where my focus had be and when. Sometimes spent full years in game just training my army and boosting their moral before engaging an enemy. Getting past Englands fleet of ships at the end was something that I had to build up to over like 4-5 in game years by increasing my fleet. January seems to be a dangerous time as many of my generals would just randomly die of old age so I always dreaded a new year rolling over. Unlike some of the other KOEI games I've played too you need to make good use of every type of unit and can't just steamroll enemies with one type. Also had to pay close attention to enemy stats before engaging on the battlefield in order to reduce my losses. It was a lot to learn, but became a fun loop by the end.

Nice job Crabbie on the L'empereur accomplishment. I have always wanted that game because I am a huge fan of Napoleon Bonaparte but the price is just out of my reach.
My next claim will be... The Hunt for Red October

So for Gyromite, there's a version of the game that remaps the controller 2 A and B buttons to controller 1 instead so you can play it from one controller. Would that be acceptable to play through, or do we need to do the 2 controller version?

As long as it's all in game options with no secret codes that would be just fine.

Platoon is finished. I found that once I memorized the the routes through the jungle and the tunnels the game is pretty short.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail, huh? That's the one with the Lego scene, right?
