Thanks so much for catching my errors you guys. Wempster even pointed out to me that I had been marking April games off as March games for half the month. If anyone else notices any mistakes I've made don't be shy pointing them out so I can correct them.

@Sclibby - glad to have you back!

Beat Golf Grand Slam tonight. Atlus is one of my favorite publishers of all time. I've got to say though that they may be among the worst publishers on the NES. This is a terrible golf game. Why you wouldn't copy the great systems used in Black Box Golf that came out years earlier than this is baffling. It was pretty ridiculous to play so I abused the password system which saves your game in between each hole. Not a good game.

I was gathering screenshots for the next video, and I found Ice Climbers had been beat on April 8th, but it got missed on the list of completed games.

I’m going to relinquish my claim on tom and Jerry. It’s defeated me.

First three worlds out of 5 aren’t too bad. I had a few goes playing legitimately and made good progress through those. But then I put in the infinite lives cheat and played through to the end. The last two worlds are a nightmare of bad enemy placement. I lost dozens of lives on those two worlds and can’t see myself ever getting through them on 3 lives and 2 continues. So I’ll let someone more hardcore take this challenge on.

I’ll claim solar jetman instead

@Wempster - Thank you for catching that for me!

@Schlibby - yeah it's pretty tough. I remember grinding in one spot for a while to max out my lives before proceeding. Not the most honorable method, but sometimes you gotta do what it takes. Solar Jetman is a pretty unique game. Be interested to hear your thoughts on that one.

I put some time in The Lone Ranger tonight and was pleasantly surprised. It's pretty fun so far. I finished the first 3 missions so far.

Crystalis done.

Overall a very solid action-RPG. There are quite a few frustrating quirks that hold it back a bit, such as annoying enemy types and labyrinthine dungeons with no maps, but I had a good time with it.

Now that that's done, I'd like to stake my next claim on StarTropics since nobody else has grabbed it.

Nice job Disposed! StarTropics is great, I hope you enjoy it.

@Wempster - about time someone claimed TMNT! A classic!

I played a bunch more Lone Ranger tonight. I am at the final stage now and was able to make it to the last boss, but couldn't finish him off today. Shouldn't be too much of a problem to take him down tomorrow though. I'm also gonna start working on one of the more challenging games still on our list and claim Arkanoid and see if I can't finish that one during May.

Nice job Disposed! StarTropics is great, I hope you enjoy it.

I've played it before, but it's probably been about 10 years and with liberal use of save states. I think this will be the last NES game that I need to go back and beat legit. I remember it being really good, so I'm looking forward to revisiting it.

Anyway, with this being the last day of April, I'm going to try to knock out one more shorter game before the end of the month, although I haven't decided on anything yet.

Finished off The Lone Ranger. Was a solid game and really surprised me. Never heard a peep from anyone about this game, but it's definitely worth checking out.

I'll jump back in now that things have calmed down in my world. Wario's Woods is what I'll take.

I would also think Wrecking Crew belongs on this list as a puzzle game.

Got to ask, what’s a game style game?
