I got that one too. The only dated this that I didn't get was the Sonic Mania. It wasn't numbered anyway so I didn't care too much about it. Plus not the biggest Sonic fan. Did you order After Burner II today as well?

Datadiscs sent out an email just days ago announcing After Burner II's imminent release so that was a surprise but yes I got this preordered today Grin
It's also nice that this release will include arranged versions by S.S.T. Band Cool

Picked up these two from the GameStop Pro Day sale on Saturday:

Also grabbed some more Walmart clearance games.  Stardew Valley was $12.88 and Tri Force Heroes was $8.

Yeah, I had a hard time getting the cover to the parallel port open.  Eventually I did, though.  It's good to know I did a good job cleaning.  laugh

Azure Striker Gunvolt is $39.99 in store at Target BUT it's $28.49 on their mobile app AND for the next 2 days there's a 50% cartwheel coupon so I got it for $15.

JAMMA! Addicted recently reached out to see if I would be interested in trading for some Arcade stuff.  Would I ever! This is a great couple of sports games and a much needed spare part.

NBA Jam!!!!

Wayne Gretzky 3D Hockey

Wayne Gretzky is an exceptionally uncommon board. I'll be testing both later today.  The spare part is a Mortal Kombat 1 Sound Board.  The one I have is not working and I'm not sure if I can repair it yet so having another for testing/spare parts is great.  Thanks Addicted!

I did the same thing with the Cartwheel app and got it for about half price, which I thought was an excellent buy, considering all the praise that's been heaped upon the Gunvolt games.  Looking forward to some more faux-Mega Man action Smiley

Hey now,

Here are my vidya pickups from the Goodwill Presidents' Day promo thrift crawl a couple weeks ago:

The two DS Lites and CIB DS games-- including a sealed Etrian Odyssey II: Heroes of Lagaard-- set me back about $66.00 all told. Prototype 2 was $1.99, and the sealed Mario Tennis Ultra Smash was $8.50.

Elsewhere, and at other times, I also found the following swag:

- PsychoPad K.O. Hyper Programmable 10-in-1 arcade stick, $9.39: I found this interesting for all the different toggle switches, including an auto-fire toggle for each action button.

- Red PSP-3000, $19.99 $13.99

- Boxed Magnavox Odyssey 300 Pong-clone Plug-&-Play console, $19.99

- 2 back issues of Play magazine and four copies of Archie Sonic Colors preview comic, $0.80 each

- All CIB games, $1.99 each

- Master Eon's Official Guide to Skyanders Trap Team, $1.99

Aaaand finally, a little something the checkout lady let me have for nothing:

Tune in next time when I whip out a nice little bundle of retro goodness!

Until next time...

Looks like you're missing the cables to be able to actually use it. Undecided
I bet they're split up somewhere else in the store.

Hey now,

I looked all around the place for the cables to no avail. Fortunately, my City Boy arcade controller has compatible connector cables:

And now, the nice little bundle of retro goodness I promised in my last post:

Man, this Intellivision lot came with quite a few space-battle games. Astrosmash, Space Armada, Space Battle, Space Hawk, Star Strike-- heck, even Demon Attack is set in space. Of course, none of them can hold a candle to this bad boy:

And if that wasn't cool enough, the box contained a second game cartridge with overlay:

So that's an Intellivision console with CIB voice synthesizer module, 17 CIB games, and one loose game with overlay. Not bad for $175, don't you think?

Elsewhere, I discovered this:

Aaaand finally, a familiar non-video game grab:
