Hey all! Here is the finds for this week (still have the weekend to come).

Finally knocked off a PS2 Game off the wanted list - now I just need to get all the .hack GU Games.

The Original Game Boy Box and SNES box are inserts and styros and I have all the fixings to go in them.  The Boxed GB Pocket is our first Pocket CIB.

Floigan Bros. along with BC II Grog's Revenge are great games.  Be sure to try them out.

Got another random haul for under $5. Atmosfear is one of those VHS board games, a sequel to Nightmare. I also saw VHS Baseball and VHS Clue today, but the Gatekeeper wins this day. I had to get the vinyl because the cover is just amazing. The Dragonlance calendar is probably the best find since its in great shape overall, the prints are high quality, the art is amazing, and it doesn't seem to have ever been hung up anywhere. Not sure if Shadow has the 1985 Dragonlance calendar.

I'm going to start tweeting about my random finds, so you can see all the weird stuff I pass up, like a semi shaped aftershave bottle from Avon, over there @SirPsychoPlays.

Whoah, whoah, whoa-- hold the phone there, buddy...

...they made a Little Nicky video game?

Now ya got me curious...

Why do you think he had me buy it for him? Wink

Yes, I'm sure it's bound to be horrid, but sometimes that's half the fun!

I will be late getting home tonight, but once I get through everything, I will have pics of the large batch of Game Boy carts I grabbed yesterday in Lincoln. I scored some CIB PSP games, too.

Think I have an empty box for that Marble Drop Nick, but it might be the EA Classics release. I'd have to check. But, holy hell, that Power Lords...

Okay, I broke the bank yesterday out game hunting, but I scored big time. Here's my small batch of random pickups:

Here is the haul from yesterday.  I forgot I had a few games to pick up from Gamestop that I pre-ordered so when I went to pick up one game I ended up having to pick up all of them - blah too much but some awesome titles.  Also got a couple of Saturn Titles I need to finish the set in the mail. I have one more coming soon hopefully.  I think I am down to like 3 or 4 titles now. If anyone knows or has a CIB copy of Panzer Dragoon Saga for sale I am willing to make quick payments on it :-)

Also we found the Pokemon Blu-Ray Trilogy Pack at Vintage Stock in KC.  Didn't even know it was released.

Once again it’s been awhile since I’ve posted in here. Like always I’ll try to make a pleasant mix of TL/DR and lots of huge pictures.

Firstly, GamerNick…….sigh, leave some games for the rest of us man. Has everyone else seen all the stuff he’s been getting? Didn’t he like buy out a store or something? Anyways, liked the Atari and GG boxes, the Xonox stuff especially.

The PowerLords was awesome. I only have the cart and manual, finding it CIB is great! Don’t know if you have Atlantis for the O^2 yet, it can be a pain. Powerlords sells for the most and people say it’s the rarest but at least it’s available for sale nearly always. Atlantis is almost never for sale anywhere, there was a yearlong period when I was looking for it when it didn’t show up on ebay.

Even with all that Sauza found lately, he wasn’t able to keep up with you……or Zagnorch, them two combined actually. You are at least leaving some Call of Duties and MLB 2006s for us aren’t you?  Tongue

MetalFRO keeps finding all these GB games, so that's pretty awesome. This has got to be one of the biggest groups of them I’ve seen in one post in this thread, not to mention all the others he found lately. At least you’re limiting yourself to only buying all the Gameboy games in existence unlike GamerNick who is buying all of everything  Cheesy

And the PSP games, that is a way better selection of them then I ever come across.

Here's my real good CIB PSP score comprising stuff I bought from 2 game stores and a Goodwill:

And here's my EPIC Game Boy grab: 48 new, non-duplicate GB carts to add to my ever growing backlog of games to play and review!

Continuing with the making this post, extra-long-by-talking-about-everyone-else-before-I-even-get-to-my-stuff….

Zag found a RealFlight controller/sim/game, more on that later….

Hey now,

And at some point….

Quote from: Izret101

Because.…

All right, back to you...
I have a boxed Coleco thingy too, although the controller looks similar, the box is nothing like that. But, I did see a stand alone Controller in a thrift store today that looked exactly like yours oddly enough.

Zag also found some early Nintendo Powers, while I am jelly1 about the Fan Club News, I would like to point out that I wrote a blog about how a letter I wrote as a kid was featured in that Track & Field issue of NP, the one with the rocket shoes. I would like to post the link to it (my blog) here but at some point, some of the images got down-rezzed, and they are now too small to be readable, which is important to that story. I really need to go back and re-do those images….

This stuff is cool, I just wanted to point that out:

Last week's finds:

SEGA Game Gear Carry pac
This was awesome to find. I think it's never been used! It even has the tag on it!

Shadow Dancer (Master System, No manual) and Champions (Amiga)

Crabmaster found a SS and a Game&Pocket, Redd found some rock’n CD-I stuff and Piles got that Mega Man CIB….

Honestly, at this point I wonder whether I should save this post until the next page of the small scores thread. I mean, page 84 is already pretty long and this post would make it really long, hmmmm….2

Remember back when I said we would get to RealFlight stuff again? Well, Mr Zagnorch sent me a very awesome NSSS Christmas gift, in late February. To his credit, he did know it was February, hence the Valentine’s Day card, it changes to 3 different images!

Without posting a quote from that post too, I got one of these a while back, CIB. Mine was gameport though, and while I have machines that would run it, they are put up in nice stacks on shelves in the garage (oh, to have a bigger house) Zag sent me a nice USB one….

RealFlight controllers go along with a simulator/game. It helps you to learn to fly RC planes. The simulation is pretty good. Since when you fly a real RC plane you are standing in one spot, using a controller to remotely interact with something in the distance, much like a video game. This lets you get used to flying a RC plane without the worry of smashing up your multi-hundred-$ investment on a hard landing. The controllers are fairly accurate to the real ones. They are made by Futaba, which makes real controllers for real RC planes. I actually have one of them so you can see the similarity here, at least between these two models:

Moving on….

I don’t post pictures of every RETRO magazine I get, but when I do it’s of ones I really like the cover art of:

Family member gave me cool gift. GBA stuffs! The game boxes might be the first GBA boxes I own and they are super nice. I’ve been playing Super Mario right before bed almost every night now. Who knew you could play games in bed?

Thrift Store finds:

Probably have Starcraft already, but you know, future lan parties. LotR game and VHS movie! (big LotR fans here) Thrift store prices on all this, so a few dollars total:

I know you guys aren’t really Steam fans, but you know, they are kinda still video games.

Got Cities Skylines, Miscreated and Sanctuary RPG Black Edition on a recent sale.

Skylines because I always have said if I had to answer the “stranded on a desert island” question, Simcity 4 would be my game to take. I have high hopes Skylines will change that.

Miscreated is an early access, FPS, survival, crafting, many-multi-player game. I have a few friends playing it all the time right now and I wanted to have something to play with them.
http://store.steampowered.com/app/299740/

Sanctuary RPG Black Edition. If you have a hankering to play a current day riff on the old BBS style rouge/ascii/fantasy/adventure game, shoot, this is it. It looks fantastic in the little I’ve played so far, and is on sale again for $2 until the 29th
http://store.steampowered.com/app/328760/

Bejewelled 3 is not something I just bought, it's just there in this shot because my wife just discovered we have it. She has been playing it like crazy.

And because I need more Steam games, I was sent this for my one-year-older-day:

Clearly, I need more Steam games:

While I’ve been taking notes to make this post, we went to another thrift, less than $7 even with a book I didn't show,

Civ V is a maybe gift, I am thinking it’s unlikely to work as it DRM’s through Steam. But even if it doesn’t, the instructions, box and tech-tree chart will make nice additions to our own copy, it is one of my wife’s favorite games after all. The minigolf game turned out to be without disc! Everything else was taped shut at the store so I didn’t think to check this one, it wasn’t taped and is without the game! The 4 channel mixer isn’t a gaming thing per se, but I might use it to hook up more game systems? The parallel port to USB is gaming related because:

Hey now, Nupes & company... but mainly Nupes...

Regarding your published letter in that ish of Nintendo Power: Can I have your autograph?! I've never met a fellow published periodical-letter-writer before! I had an e-mail printed in an issue of The Punisher from the 2000s Garth Ennis run. In my e-mail I pointed out a subtle continuity error that I hoped would win me a coveted Marvel No-Prize... only to learn that they'd given that up a few years prior. BTW that has been the ONLY letter or e-mail I've ever sent to a periodical, and it will likely be the last, giving me a perfect 1-for-1 record.

And now, another weird coincidence: After I shipped out the USB R/C simulator flight controller, I drove down to the nearest Goodwill, where I found and bought that complete RealFlight G3 set. But now here's where things get spooky. Today I made a little thrift pickup that I was planning to show off on the tech-score thread. But seeing this has forced my hand:

Quote

Check out what I grabbed for a double-sawbuck...

Six channels and four servos, baby... whatever the hell that means. While the box is a bit beat up, it looks like the controller, batteries, servos, and hookups have barely been touched, let alone used. The only bummer is that it's missing the operating manual.

Oh, and while I have your attention, Nupes, take a gander at what I grabbed for under four bucks:

All right, time to get a little less esoteric and show y'all my latest vidya grabs:

- Japanese Wild Arms 3 case and manual with Japanese Final Fantasy X disc, $0.50

- Super Breakout & Battlezone GB cart, $3.98 $3.19

- LoZ Link's Awakening DX and Oracle of Seasons GBC carts, $5.99 each

- CIB Ratchet & Clank Full Frontal Assault, $3.95

Aaaand that's it for now. Next, please.
