Picked up at my local Christian Thrift Store this weekend.  Almost have one of workers who handles the drop off convinced to call me when they get new stuff in. The NES that got donated with it looked in good shape but I wanted to give someone else in my area a chance at one.. no need to be greedy.

Solid $11 investment IMHO.

great Find, I love my NES Satellite. I use it a lot. I feel it is not too bad about battery usage, either. I too do the same thing when I find stuff, I already have, and don't really need to pick up. I see Sega Genesis Systems all the time, and I don't feel the need to pick up anymore. I figure if I already have one that I play on and a backup. I don't pick it up. I feel like I am giving someone a chance to play the games they loved as a kid.

Riddle of the Sphinx!!! My old next-door neighbor and I used to play that game all the time.  Loved that game as a kid, and need to track down a copy at some point!

Here are my finds from yesterday and today!

Here's what I snagged at a game store in the area:

Here are a few decent/random Goodwill finds:

And here's my big pawn shop score for today, between 2 different stores!

Was particularly stoked about the TimeSplitters find, since I saw it at the game store (where I got the manuals, etc. above) for $15, and I paid WAY less than that Grin

That's a nice lot for the original Xbox you got there.

Riddle of the sphinx - I believe bickman2K has one on his list of items for sale for around $2 (FYI)

I finally used the NES satellite tonight and had mixed emotions.

Happy to own one and sit on the couch instead of the ground... sad that it took until I was 30 to finally own one..

So last weekend I was helping a friend move, because I am the "friend with a truck".  He said he would give me some old video game stuff he had for helping him out since he no longer needed it.  It turned out to be 2 filing cabinets worth of stuff!

A bunch of Playstation and Dreamcast games, only one of which I already owned.  (Marvel vs Capcom 2)

Boxed N64 games, some longbox Playstation games, a GBA with a bunch of accessories, sealed gamecube memory card, all sorts of stuff.  Not pictured is the Dreamcast, N64, controllers or the GunCons that also came with it.  Oh and one more N64 game that I have been looking for this box ever since mine was accidentally thrown away when I moved to Florida.

I also found this at a tabletop game store in St. Augustine.  It looks fun and I can't wait to play it.
