@all_kaps - AMAZING FIND on that Xenoblade game!

@singlebanana - so jelly of that vinyl...I'd be curious to know if it sounds good.

It sounds a LOT better, once you move the switch from 33, to 45 speed. Grin

Uh yeah, that happened to me too.

BTW, did yours come with a second "error" vinyl as well?  Mine did and unsure what that is about.

I did not get that. I bought two, so I got one clear, and one white. I had heard he had messed up a bunch, and printed them with two side B's or something. He probably threw one in with your other record to try and get rid of some.

My "scores" for the weekend. I can come back and post pics, not really that exciting.

Over the weekend I scored an Atari 800. Not an XL, just a regular 800 (the XLs seemed more common in my searches). I haven't actually powered it on yet. It's been in a garage for literally 22 years (exposed to heat/cold). I figure I would probably give it a once over before attempting to test the 30+ year old solder joints. Right? Also, I don't have a power adapter for it yet. Might try a universal power (unless somebody expresses doubts on that).
I got it with 10 cartridges. One of them is AtariWriter and one is BASIC programming, the rest I believe are games. And some 5 1/4" floppies, most of which are games.

I also have several manuals for the thing. Haven't combed through those yet.

Also a tape deck - Atari 1010 - but no cable to connect to the computer or power adapter that either.

I did actually get several data storage cassettes (16K on a cassette? amazing!).  In fact one of them, Early Games for Young Children, according to Atari Mania, is a 8/10 rarity (I only have the cassette). Some of the other cassettes and floppies are also 5s and 6s but no 8s. I mean based on the assumption that particular guide is accurate. And the cassettes/floppies actually work. Which I don't actually have anyway to test.

There's been a pretty sick streak of scores lately. If only somebody highlighted those anymore.

Here's a little something I picked up yesterday from a local retro game shoppe:

Very cool!  I was a big fan of this series in the arcade.

I like that game too.  Never understood why they names it after Quiet Mouthwash though...

@EngineerMike: Demons Crest is a great game. Nice pickup!

@ReddMcKnight: I've always wanted to try the Xbox version. Nice!

@EngineerMike: nice find on that Demon's Crest cart!  That's the only one I need to complete the Gargoyle's Quest trilogy Smiley

@subassy - first, welcome!  Second, awesome find!  If I had more space in my house, I would love to get more into 80's micro computers, especially the Atari line like that.  Very cool.

I forgot to post my finds from this last weekend, so here are my scant few garage sale finds, though they're good:

Here are a few nice pawn shop finds - particularly happy about the Haven find, as well as finally getting Arkham Asylum for next to nothing:

And here are my Goodwill finds - I now have both iterations of Road Rash 3-D for PlayStation Cheesy

Dark Alliance II is kind of a big one for me. Been looking for it forever, and it seems to get rarer and rarer. Somehow the price has crept lower and lower over the years, and someone posted a copy on 99gamers for a reasonable price two weeks ago. Then he messed up the trade and I figured I wasn't going to get the game, but he messaged me a few days later and offered me the game again at an even lower price. Deception IV is also from 99gamers.

Also, this came in the mail from Mister Heynow. I actually got the base and the other figures from Santa 'Norch's not so secret Santa last year and my wife picked up the game for me. So now the thing is complete. I promise I'll play it someday, but I have a serious amount of Skylandering to catch up on. Thanks again Zag.
