Colecovision was tested and working, but needs new power adapter. Games and system on my FS/FT list right now. PM with interest.

Darn, was going to ask about the power supply since I need one for mine.

Here are my pickups this week. Found a couple japanese PS1 games, not sure I want them, so willing to trade for them. Got another Laserdisc player which will replace the other one I have, since this one is better.  Got a Talkboy, missing the battery cover but it works at least, will probably make it available for trade.  Kinda cool to find a TI-99 game at the thrifts, since I never see them really anywhere except online. Sadly my TI-99 does not work. Picked up some more guides, and Magic the Gathering Battlegrounds and Art of Fighting for SNES for cheap.

My favorite pickup this week so far, is the Wico Command Control Joystick for Atari 2600, these things are great joysticks, and glad to now have one.

That power supply could still be yours if you ask nicely.  Grin

ANYway, here's a meager harvest of thrift scores I've scraped together over the past several weeks:

- Sealed Nintendo Game Boy Player for GameCube, $5.99

- CIB Take Your Best Shot PC game, $2.49

Laserdisc must not have been a thing in my area.  I keep my eyes open for them at flea markets and Goodwills, but every likely suspect is actually just a 5-disc CD changer.

I recently picked up a Wico Command Control Joystick (ball type) at a flea market after hearing the hype on these things for a while.  Once I had that ball in my hand, I finally understood what everyone was talking about.

I have no idea why they didn't call that record "Clashlevania".

All of the Moonshake pressings, have had some kind of theme/spoof, to the album covers. The Mega Man album was an homage to Heroes by David Bowie, Zelda was Dark Side of the Moon, Castlevania is obviously London Calling, and the NES greatest Hits is done Andy Warhol style, with four toasters on one side of the jacket, and four power gloves on the other.

@all_kaps - AMAZING FIND on that Xenoblade game!

@singlebanana - so jelly of that vinyl...I'd be curious to know if it sounds good.

It sounds a LOT better, once you move the switch from 33, to 45 speed. Grin

Uh yeah, that happened to me too.

BTW, did yours come with a second "error" vinyl as well?  Mine did and unsure what that is about.

Hey now once again...

- Mega Man Battle Network 3 Blue GBA cart, $3.99

- Mega Bloks Skylanders Giants Cynder pack, $0.99: This will likely be the only version of the sparkly-purple 2012 Toy Fair Cynder I'll ever be able to afford.

- Radio Shack Helicopter Attack and Sonic Sea Battle Handhelds, $4.99 for both: Thanks to its impending demise, I'll latch on to just about anything with the Radio Shack brand on it. However, I have another reason for getting Sonic Sea Battle:

Do you see it yet? No? Okay, let me zoom in a little more:

Okay, NOW you see it, right? RIGHT?!

Oh, for-- REALLY?! Sigh...

Weird thing is, I don't think A-10s are particularly helpful in naval operations.

Speaking of notable national retailers facing extinction, I picked this up for $1.79:

All right, back to you...
