Had a good day at the Tradepost and Arena for games!
I got to see a copy of this, which is cool, but certainly not something I'm going to randomly buy in a store (at least until I take in the box of spring cleaning I'm saving up!)

Below here is what I actually bought today, and can you tell that I'm getting into an arcade kick after my trip to Oregon?

These last four were from the Arena for $15 total.

I picked up Jurassic Park and Racing Aces for Sega CD. I also got Dying Light for PS4 for $25. If you like zombie games I highly recommend it.

I try to not post tons of pictures at once, but I always seem to fail at that. I'm about to fail again.
Here's the pile of garbage I bought from Amazon recently:

Everything was $1-3 as usual. The Japanese FFIX and Dynasty Warriors for PSP were pretty cool. Everything else was kind of meh. I just grabbed them because they were cheap.
Garage sales have kind of sucked this year:

These were all $2 a piece. The Star Trek game is really the only thing that seemed like a deal to me.
So then I said screw it and went to Disc Replay. Much better stuff there.

Well, technically better. Any NES games get me excited, but outside of Dragon Spirit these are kind of boring games. I do love the shit out of Dragon Spirit though.
So then I decided to go back to a few Kmarts to pick up the last few games they had left.

A lot of these were for my daughter like the Hello Kitty DS case and a bunch of the DS games. Skylanders was only 6ish bucks.
So, onto Gamestop. They sell games right?

Holy shit! Quality games! I decided I was going to start trying to get more RPGs and this is the latest bunch I grabbed. The PC games were super cheap, so I grabbed those too.
Overall, a bunch of very, very meh games. A couple decent ones, but nothing too exciting. Do you think thrifts helped saved the day? It depends! I don't know what you like!

All of the games in the second two pictures were $1-2 a piece and the controllers were $1.50 a piece. The various books in the pictures were 20 cents a piece. The PC games in the first picture were all $1 piece and the Xbox games were $3 a piece, with the big surprise being Sniper Elite III for $6. My favorite thing just for pure weirdness is the Email for Gameboy thing in the first picture. I didn't even know that was a thing.
And in case all that isn't geeky enough for you, I also grabbed all of these for $20 total.

100 comic books ranging from the early 80's to the mid 2000's. I don't grab them that often, but I couldn't pass these up.
And I think that's all for this week. I went nuts again this week, so expect another post in a few days that looks a lot like this one.

That's a truckload of PS2 titles! My local store was running a $1 PS2 sale for select games last weekend, but I didn't make it out. Now's a great time to get into that system before the nostalgia kicks in.

nothing PS2 exists up here for less than $5 canadian
that $40 lot probably would have cost at $500 - $1000 in any of the stores around here.

I'm coveting that Young Indiana Jones Chronicles.
Yeah, I kinda lucked out. All these games are very welcome additions to my collection. However, I doubt I'll ever have trade bait as good as what I offered to Nick again, so I had to make this trade a good one.
You know that Indiana Jones is something I need...

WOW, that's a haul! I thought I was doing well snagging PS2 and Xbox games at $2 a piece at a local pawn shop, but that's an amazing batch of games! Some great titles in the PS2 batch, plus Syphon Filter 2 on PS1, a great game. Welcome to the site!

Well, I finished building my junk box and took it in to trade. I've been complaining about a lack of space, so I just freed up a lot of it, while also getting these for free in the end!
