When are you getting your Blinking Light Win Duke? I can't wait!

Already installed it! I used it when I beat Mega Man 3 the other day. I haven't posted on SS yet.

Decided on a whim to hit a thrift store and indulge in one of my favorite past times: digging through music cds in search of random PC games.

I was really hoping for a great CD of random DOS/Win 3.1 shareware (I love those).  This isn't it, but it's not horrible.

After a week or so of feeling burnt out on hunting for stuff, I got back out there.  Here is what I picked up. Everything is from the thrifts except for the Atari 5200 version of Miner 2049er.

I got Miner 2049er from ebay for 20.00, which is a pretty good deal for this game. Even though the box is in pretty bad shape, it is still a good deal. I believe I am now 1 or 2 games away from having half the library of the Atari 5200.

Everything else were cheap thrift store finds. I paid like 10.00 total for all the games. 3.00 each for the guides.  Trigger Happy is a book about video games impacting culture.

That's how I found my copy of Ys for the Turbo CD, $2.00.Grin I search the music CDs all the time but that was definitely my best find.  Usually it's just PS1 games now.  I still hold out hope that one of the workers will think games are music CDs. Grin

Hey All! Well I didn't know if I was supposed to post the NES games so here it goes! I got all of these from our very own Wildbil who has helped me get quite a few games I need for my collection and some great upgrades as well! Thanks so much Bil!! Looking forward to hopefully doing some more business down the road.  This has been in the works for a while and I really again want to thank him!

-From Bil - All of them are Complete in Box -

Top Row of Games - These were all games I needed to cross off my list: Crash 'n' The Boys, Great Waldo Search, Mafat Conspiracy, Race America, Roundball 2 on 2, Target: Renegade, Ultimate Air Combat.

Second Row - These were all upgrades to my collection
-720*, Adventures in Gilligan's Island, Contra Force, Dig Dug II, Dragon's Lair, Pirates!, Young Indiana Jones Chronicles

My Brothers Pick ups -
-How To Win At Nintendo Games - First Print Release - From Half Price Books $2.00
-Riviera: The Promised Land - GBA - Complete In Box Mint - He got from a local store cheap
-LEGO Jurassic World - Target Exclusive (I think)
-LEGO Jurassic World Strategy Guide - From GameStop - Little back story this guide except for Amazon or other online outlets his hard to track down my friend Scott said most GameStops got 2-4 guides.
-Two Odysessy 2 Manuals to complete our copies

Then! Of course my brother passed me money so I could buy some Big Box PC Games from another one of our very own NES_Rules!  Thanks so much!!!  He really enjoyed going through them!

Two weekends ago was a bi annual flea market that I always score huge at.  On top of that, the day before there was a flea market at a local church and a mile long sale in my town.  The church flea market had two games I already had and the mile long sale didn't happen because they forgot to let anyone know about it.  Nice move assholes.

The bi-annual flea market wasn't a complete bust, but the amount of gaming stuff was way, way down from previous years.  Overall, what was shaping up to be one of my biggest weekends ever turned into a pretty big let down.

I should have included these in my last batch of pictures, but I forgot about them.  They were all brand new and $1 a piece from one of my regular thrifts.  The Interplay compilation is really the only thing that moves the needle for me, but I'll take big box PC games any day.

Kmart is going to stop carrying video games, so they are liquidating everything they have left.  This is what I picked up at a local store. for 90 cents to $3, except for Atelier Meruru and Legendary.  I got those from Gamestop.  Pretty weak stuff.  I got most of the games for my daughter to play and also my inability to walk away from games priced at $3 or less.

I picked these up from a garage sale I went to after the Saturday flea market and mile long sale busts.  I paid $25 for the whole lot.

Finally, here's the stuff I picked up from the big flea market:

Most of the games were $1 a piece except for Monster Hunter which was $5 and Contra Legacy of War which was $2.  Contra also had Twisted Metal 2 in it, so I guess technically those were $1 a piece too.  The Dragon's Lair lunch box has been at the past three flea markets that this seller had gone too, and I finally managed to talk him down to $15.  It doesn't have the Thermos, but it's in pretty good condition.  The Monopoly game is missing most of the player tokens, but has everything else.  For $2 I'm not going to complain too much.

Finally I got these for $2 a piece, because come on.  Look at home awesome these things are.

Admit it, you think these things are boss hog.

Some great finds lately, especially in the big box PC realm!  Here's what I scored today!

My GC & PS2 Goodwill finds:

My original PlayStation finds, all CIB, except the original Spyro game. The One Crash game has one of those inserts where it's the heavy card stock with the multiple images that change when you turn it to the left or right, but not an actual manual. Anyone know what that's about, or does anyone else have that edition? I can only assume it belongs with those other Crash "collectors edition" games, but it looks different.  Also, I found a PS2 network adapter disc. I have an adapter already, so that was nice to find.

And another big score of Game Boy manuals from the same game shop as last time! Glad to have that SGB manual also!

Thanks! I already own Spyro 2 & 3, as well as Ape Escape, but all greatest hits versions, so yes, I was super stoked to find original black label copies in the wild, especially at Goodwill, where I wouldn't get honked on the price, just because of the color of the packaging! I thought the 3 Crash games were an interesting find as well, since I'd never seen those before.
