A Logitech G19? Tongue

close...it's the G110, essentially the G19 but without the screen Wink

Man I can't wait to try some VR.

it's extremely complicated to get it working, i've only just got it working with its own demos and some rift-designed videos. went to try it with battlefield 3, no native support so it needs an extra piece of software as a work-around...that costs $50. i'll look into how many other games that software will fix for this, if it's enough it might be worth it. native support in retail games is almost non-existant, every game takes a bunch of research and modding to get it running.

the one that i'm most excited about (because it's best suited to this modding requirement) is Minecraft. gave it a quick try but i must have missed something because it crashed so i'll try again some other time.

tl;dr i'm happy i have it because it is really cool, but unless you're a real enthusiast (which i'd like to think i am) i would highly recommend waiting until the final consumer version is out at retail and there are retail games designed to work with it.

That's pretty neat. I certainly keep and eye on the VR story, planning on getting one myself, trying very hard to hold out for the consumer version. Oculus seems likely but with Valve and others throwing their hats in the ring, I'm not sure which one I'll want when the time comes.....anyways, that's awesome you got one.

Frogger was off ebay and from Brazil. It is one of the few Brazil-only Odyssey2 games. It's not that I am set on picking up everything O2, but when games come up cheap, I'll grab ones I don't have. Because when you have the complete Odyssey^2 library, what are you going to do? Collect for other systems? Pffft!

The INTV game was from a mom&pop used game store about an hour from here. I've been trying to get INTV games CIB when I can but this was there and I didn't have it, you know how it is. The best part was going there with our very own SirPsycho! The wife and I got to hang out with him all yesterday evening. SirPsycho was in the area with family doing family stuff and took the time to meet us. We went to that store, had dinner and went to that apparently famous arcade in Portland, Ground Kontrol. It was pretty fun. SirP got to show me how much better he is than me at Turtles in Time, wife got to play pinball for hours and I got to show off my RoadBlasters skills by getting 4th on their high scores list, with only one try  Smiley

All of us got to see what the current Portland Hipster scene is like, my wife told me it was okay because 'I was into retro collecting before it was cool.'

Nice nupoile, I went to ground kontrol last weekend when I was down there seeing a friend. Pretty nice, little arcade. Also thanks for sharing your finds, feels so refreshing to see pre-nes games.

Nice job, Retrorage, Mega Man 5 is the only one I am missing from the NES releases. And wow does that box look good.

Banana, that is an awesome George Michael Album, you got, now you can shake your ass in your blue jeans while you listen to "Faith"

@Slowman - jealous of that Strikers 1945 cab!

It's my first arcade cabinet!

Long term I think I will clean it up, fix/replace the remote adjustment board, and change it to a 1943 cabinet simply because it's not an official Strikers 1945 cabinet.  Plus it already is shaped like many 1943 cabinets in Google image search.  Then I will build a new tabletop or minimal/shortie cabinet around the LCD screen and Strikers 1945 board.  I would really only need to pick up a few buttons, a joystick, a power supply, JAMMA harness, speakers, and appropriate (and preferably cheaply-sourced) wood.  I have the expensive bits of a second cab already.

Found this for £1. It's missing the front inlay.

Picked up some stuff today from the thrifts. Got this cool Epyx 500XJ Joystick for the Atari 2600 for a couple bucks.

Believe it or not, I did not have LoZ in my collection. Picked it up for a pretty good price. Picked up the 3 of these bookcases and the magazine/record holder, and now I am rearranging my game room. Hopefully this can solve some of my storage issues I was having.

That Epyx 500XJ is my choice of joystick for the 2600. Love mine and as you know, it gets a lot of use.

@Fokakis Your nerd room could use a little artwork.  Perler artwork.  Seriously I've been dying to start a new project.  Let me know if you're interested! (That goes for everyone else too btw)

Going to try it out, I have become a fanatic for collecting controllers and peripherals. Maybe that can be one of my new goals

Both of those are really solid games. Its always nice to still have goodies that far into the collection Smiley
