Some nice grabs, Mike!

I forgot to post my take from yesterday's outing, but first, here's today's small find:

The LotR game also had this oversized French manual with it, stuffed inside, hence why it's all bent up. Not sure what the reason for the larger size is, but I thought it was a neat find:

Now for yesterday's haul! First up, random NES grabs:

Next, a few Game Boy carts I snagged. Glad to have finally tracked down Battle Unit Zeoth!

Now for some Game Gear stuff! Tempo Jr was a good find, along with Asterix and the 2 Sega Club games:

I got lots of PSP love yesterday. Here's lot 1. Scarface was a freebie because it wasn't priced, and I bought so many games, the store clerk just threw it in there:

PSP lot 2! A couple obscure games, and I've seen Work Time Fun go for more than I paid, so I was happy about that:

PSP lot 3! GTA is complete with the map, and I'm stoked to have the Genesis Collection, MG Acid, and Tactics Ogre:

Awesome, Psycho, is that the inside of the PC game that unfolds to where the discs are held?  I think the box was the classic eidos tombstone shape

Likely was a Canadian release. It's common to shove French manuals in with the US releases and distribute them in Canada.

Yeah the Eidos trapezoid boxes. This might be a reprint, I saw 4 and 5 disc listings, this one is a 4 disc one so I'm not sure if it was originally in a trapezoid. The original Thief was in the same style of box. This copy still has the number overlay for controls, I'm surprised it didn't get ripped.

Small score but a big deal for me.  I've been passively looking for this for years and it just didn't show up for sale anywhere, ever.  I saw a guy in a Facebook group list up about 80 PS1 games and I spotted this sitting in the corner of a box.  As it turns out, he lives 4 hours away from me so I got this in the mail pretty quickly.

Hey everyone! Well now..

Today was a day of Thrift Shopping the likes of which the Master of Thrift - The Norch-meister envy to drive him crazier than the master already is.  But all joking aside today was a great day for thrift most everything was $1-$5 from thrift stores and hit a couple of game stores for some other great finds.  AND FINALLY found a System Gem I have been wanting CIB since I found my first slew of boxed games.  And of which the Master Thrifter started me on with the gift of a game for the system itself.  Now with that and this pick up we decided - we are going to try for a full set (not that it is a hard set to complete or a huge accomplishment - such as the Saturn & NES sets I am trying to complete).  We found quite few PC Games (Like always).  So here it all is - also putting pictures up of what I got yesterday and the stuff my brother got in Des Moines last Saturday.

First pic yesterday's scores -

I've had a streak of luck, not volune wise but quality wise. Yesterday I picked up a model 2 Saturn controller for $5 and a copy of Ace Combat Zero on PS2 for $4. The big find of the day came from my DAV, which is speaker heaven for bare speakers of all sizes and shapes. This pair of older Panasonic Thruster speakers was marked at $9. I couldn't say no. An audio cable between my A/V switch and the audio receiver later and now I have a massive audio quality upgrade for every console I have.

krunch - digging that Krull VHS, man!  LOVE that movie!

GamerNick - some sweet pickups there!  I've never seen that Snoopy 2600 game, I would love to find and play that someday.  Jealous of the Commander Keen GBC find as well.  I played the original PC games to death when I was a kid.
