Nice TI! Going to keep that one for fun and excitement?

I bought it primarily to trade-up on a few components, namely...

- The box, which isn't nearly as beaten-up or falling apart like the one I have.

- The stryrofoamy cover piece for the keyboard-- never had one of those before.

- The AC power block, which will replace the one I have... which hums when it's plugged in. Not so much this one, thank goodness.

- The RF AV adapter, replacing the one I have... that doesn't work too well.

Quote
Also, I use almost that same cassette holder for Famicom carts.

Don't have any Famicom carts, myself, and I'm not sure I ever will. I may get another one of these in the future for my C64 datassette and Supercharger games, though.

BTW the case is part of an effort to put together a little gaming corner in the ol' Zagnorch Ponderosa. I'll try to keep all interested parties posted on my progress...

- 100-cassette holder wall shelf, $3.99: Whattaya think of my display of loose Genesis/Mega Drive and 32X Nintender tapes?
I have a black 3 drawer unit for cassettes that I planned to store my loose MD/SMS/32X cartridges in.
Unfortunately, the tabs that stop the cassettes falling over don't stick out far enough to stop cartridges falling over. Sad

Anyway, this is what I bought yesterday. Not very exciting though.

Hey all here are some HPB Finds - Picked up the Bayonetta First release with the 40% OFF coupon.  Of course the obligatory PC games from my brother - kazah blah.  Then the Suikoden III Mangas were a nice addition - missing number 1 though.  But its 2-9.

Sorry Nick, I owned one of them but it's #3. I would've just sent it over.

You can pick up a composite AV cable pretty cheap. The good news is the same one will work for C64.

@Zagnorch: That cart holder looks great! I'd like to see the updates to your gaming setup.

Hey now...

- The RF AV adapter, replacing the one I have... that doesn't work too well.

You can pick up a composite AV cable pretty cheap. The good news is the same one will work for C64.

Me no think so. Unlike some poseur-wannabes I could name, I wish to have as authentic an experience as possible with my TI-99/4A and C64. And as soon as I get a good CRT set, some back issues of Bay Area Computer Currents, and a pair of parachute pants that fit, I'll be well on my way.

Until then, lemme show you a few things I grabbed earlier today:

- CIB Star Wars Battlefront Platinum Hits edition for XBox

- Sonic the Hedgehog beanie cap: Uh-oh, that reminds me: I totes forgot that Raze's b-day was last week. Sorry 'bout that, bud; I'll ship a little somethin' out to ya ASAP.

- Skylanders Superchargers Power Blue Splatter Splasher vehicle: This is my first Superchargers pickup in about three months... which doesn't bode well for my flagging Skylanders fandom. Guess it hadda happen sooner or later...

Hey All had quite a few Toysrus Rewards Certificates to use so I used them on the B1G1 40% OFF Nintendo Games. Plus picked up a couple PS4 Games as well.

Today was a good day! I stumbled upon some cool stuff in the wild today.  First, my Goodwill scores! The Odyssey2 games are CIB, and will be for sale/trade.

Random NES grabs at the local game store:

The game store also had this beauty on the shelf:

I bought it sealed in plastic, but to my surprise, it wasn't empty:

3 extra DMG link cables, a 4-way adapter, and an A/C adapter! The case and contents were a steal at the price.  Here's my pawn shop take:

And finally, thesinglebanana hooked me up with these:

Plus I got a package from eBay that I posted in that thread. It was a good day!
