All lists are subjective, but it fascinates me when I see a top-ten list of something and it's just flat out wrong. Hardly anything on the list has merit and most entries don't make any sense.

Here's a list of the top 7 easiest video games on all-time. The author couldn't be more clueless.

It bothers me when no research done and there is no thought process. It's clear that this person has only played about 10-15 games made before 1995.

Yeah, that's pretty stupid. Karate Kid alone was pretty difficult.

I don't understand this list either. Definitely played easier games than these. its like he didn't play them but just read about them or watched a YouTube video. Karate Kid is a hard and frustrating game.

Man, Wizards & Warriors was hard.  The jumping was horrendous!  Did he play the game?

Yeah, that's pretty stupid. Karate Kid alone was pretty difficult.

I get why they say it's easy, though.  Once you get into a rhythm and know how to avoid getting juggled by 2 enemies, it really isn't that hard, despite the wind and goofy jumping.  If memory serves, I beat it as a kid on an overnight stay at a friend's house.  He had the game, and I remember playing it a few times on previous visits, then beating it one late Friday night/early Saturday morning.  Years later when I had my own NES and picked up a copy, I remember beating it again.  I very much consider myself to be an average-to-good gamer, so I think it's just finding that rhythm that's the real trick.

I can beat Contra in one life. Does that mean it's easy?

Certainly not, nor would I call Karate Kid easy.  But coming from a perspective of someone who didn't have trouble beating it, they might think it's easy, without objectively looking at it and realizing there are broken control and/or design elements.  Perspective informs a lot, and often clouds a lot, methinks.
