On a side note I picked up megaman powered up on the PSP & megaman maverick hunters. Started it last night. It's cool you can play as the bosses too. Did a stage as cut man. Pretty fun.

I finished Powered Up earlier in the year.  Prepare for a severe beatdown during the Dr. Wily stage.  You'll want to say uncle, or possibly worse, when you hit that juncture.  That is, unless you can perfect the near pixel-perfect timing of the Gutsman stage dropout platforms that make a 2nd appearance there Smiley

The Playcast episode is up!  Check the front page and give it a listen. I'm curious to hear all of your thoughts on the discussion thread.

Listening to the podcast:

@singlebanana: Go play Axiom Verge. You'll love it.

As far as why we have such odd boxart for the US releases I would argue Anime was still niche in the 80s and a lot was done on every level to hide the products Japanese origin back then. There was still an anti-Japanese sentiment and fear that Japan's then booming economy would overtake the US.
