I kept taking pics on my last plane and this was the last I took before the end. My final score on this run was 113,900

Okay, here's my first respectable score in Xyanide after a few tries to really figure out the game mechanics. I beat the first level boss and made it to level 2:

Not a Trinitron, it's a Sony WEGA rear-projection LCD. I bought it from my boss' son about a year and a half ago. He had just installed a new lamp, so it's brilliant and bright. Most everything looks fantastic on the screen. It does 720p & 1080i resolutions well, and even 480p stuff on the original Xbox looks pretty spiffy, hence the decent picture with my phone.

LOL, I've never owned a copy or played it on an actual SNES, so I've only emulated it, and what little I have played, I was pretty bad. Horizontal shmups for me are either really good, or really bad. There's very little middle ground. That said, I haven't played it in years, so who knows, I might not suck as bad as I think! Still, I'm only playing the games I physically own, because I want to achieve these scores via original hardware and controllers.

Here's my latest Xyanide score. I reached the stage 2 boss, and just missed nuking it, which would have put me even further ahead. Still, a mil and a half ain't nothing to be ashamed of

I haven't decided if I like this game yet. 

I understand how the weapons work now, but the controls are cumbersome and awkward.

And the sound fx are decent but the music is forgettable.

But, it looks really good and that alone will keep me playing for awhile.

Now lets see more scores!
