Just something from my childhood, the California Raisins Christmas special was on the same tape as Garfield Christmas special that I would watch every year for a few xmas seasons in a row as a small kid. Don't let Uncle Frank catch you, you little perv! Or he'll slap you silly!







They are actually top notch covers of 60s and 50s classics, better than most people would probably assume hearing about the ad campaign for the first time. Of course thats just 2 of many.

I actually look forward to coming home, popping on my cans, and just sinking in.  Of course, the Youtube copy is pretty low quality, and if you want to listen to a good copy for free I recommend the band (Stellar Dreams) Bandcamp website:

I've been on a huge Alice In Chains kick lately.  I always thought their self-titled album was pretty bad, but after giving it more of a chance lately, I see that it's actually pretty good!  I can't get enough of this song:

Especially the chorus of "Heaven beside you/heaven and hell." And I haven't heard that tune on well over a decade now, which is a real testament to its infectious catchiness.
