Helmet.  A LOT:

"In the Meantime" and "Betty" rule so hard.

I had a hard drive crash, so most of my casual listening at work has been put on hold. However, I recently got a couple Dream Theater vinyl reissues. "Awake" has long been my favorite DT release, and it sounds fantastic on vinyl. I also got "Falling Into Infinity" - way underrated.

I haven't listened to this song in a long time, but for some reason it's been stuck in my head all day:

A little black metal in the form of Sentenced.  And since it is black metal, you know it's gonna be cheerful and uplifting... Tongue

Funk Soul Brother was in Jet Grind Radio. I need to play that, as I purchased it on my Xbox 360 and never played it. :'(

Pulled up the Hackers soundtrack, and instantly remembered a lot of the old electronica/house bands from the 90s. Underworld and Orbital were awesome.

Underworld's Born Slippy from Trainspotting, which had the same actor as Hackers:

After watching this little gem...

...I decided to fully embrace my inner lameness and took my ears to Huey Lewis and the News' self-titled album for the first time on over 20 years. You know, the one they did before the sold out to the man.

I also listened to a few of their more "artistic" deep tracks.

It really is true what they say...

Strange, I come back to this thread to post some Weird Al, as I've been listening to a lot of his older stuff lately, and there's Zag with Al as his avatar, and posting a vid featuring The Weird One as well.  It's... weird.  Tongue  Oh, well, I'll get to posting anyway, starting with my favorite parody he's done:

And this one is my favorite of his originals:

And just some more weirdness:

I loved his reaction so much, I paused the video, took a screen capture, and edited it into my latest ava. I'm thinking of doin' a gif where Al's image alternates with this:

No, that is NOT Beau Bridges.

Whattaya think, huh?

And they were such a cute couple, too; how tragic.

ANYway, I got my ticket to ride the Super Eurobeat express:

Love those guys, and this was a great cover album:

Went to the In Flames, All That Remains, and Wovenwar concert the other night.  Been listening to the new All That Remains plenty.

Signed double vinyl of the new album.
