Game Trivia:

During development, Rare initially considered offering support for the Expansion Pak. The developers then decided that they wanted all players to have the same experience and dropped support for the Expansion Pak. However, the initial release of Jet Force Gemini displayed Expansion Pak support on the front of the box.

This box variant was first print run of the game's box art. It mistaken states that the game is designed for the Expansion Pak. Later variants fixed this mistake by initially covering the Expansion Pak logo with a sticker that stated the game's Rumble Pak support and the final variant fixed the actual box art itself so that the Expansion Pak image and text were removed entirely.
