Overview:
Sequel to Golden Axe where up to two players simultaneously choose from up to three characters to hack and slash their way through several levels using various special moves and magic ability to defeat enemies.
Also includes a duel mode, which the one player version pits the player against nearly every single kind of enemy in a one-on-one deathmatch to defeat up to 15 rounds of enemies, and a two player match pits two players against each other with much more strength than on the regular game setting, but with no magic abilities.
