Overview:

Though Skate or Die is usually considered to be a better game and is more well-known, 720° is probably worth a look. It is a 2D skateboarding game, based on the Atari arcade game of the same name.

720° features four main skateboarding events: Downhill, Ramp, Jump, and Slalom. By completing the various events, players can advance their "class" level. Earning money in these events allows players to upgrade their character through better board, helmet, pads, and shoe purchases. The game centers around a "park," from which players can skate to the four main events and the four main shops.
