Overview:
From the back of the box:
18 wheels, 20 tons of cargo, 60 feet of truck and 10,000 miles of highway! Fill up with diesel and climb aboard one of four big rigs as you haul your cargo from New York to San Fransisco in a no holds barred driving battle against rival truckers and the clock. Featuring arcade, parking challenge, score attack and versus mode its truckin' action all the way!
The goal of the arcade mode in this game is to deliver your cargo within the time limit. There's one truck that's your competitor. If you manage to deliver the cargo before he does, you'll get to play a bonus stage. In this bonus stage you have to park your truck before time runs out. If you manage, you'll get an upgrade on your truck, like a horn or a better engine. There are 4 races in total.
In the parking challenge you have to park your truck at various places over a track, before the time runs out. There are 6 different tracks, 3 of these have to be unlocked.
Score attack is a 3-lap race on a small closed circuit. The goal is to score as many points (money) as possible. Points can be earned by driving into special bonus cars or finishing ahead of the rival. There are 4 tracks. This mode can be played with 2 players.
In each mode you can choose between 4 trucks. Each of these has a distinctive, though rather cliche, driver.
