Overview

Please note that overview provided is actually for the variant Nintendo 64 RF Switch North America. View Variant Page

The Nintendo 64 RF Switch (NUS-009) connects the television to the RF Modulator (NUS-003), which is connected to the Nintendo 64. These pieces of hardware were sold separately in Japan. In every other region both pieces of hardware were sold together, making the Japanese releases unique in that they both received separate packaging.

Bundled Accessories

The Nintendo 64 RF Switch/RF Modulator includes the following:

  • NUS-003: RF Modulator - Connects to the Multi Out port on the back of the console.
  • NUS-009: RF Switch - Connects the RF Modulator to the TV.
Trivia

This final variation of the Nintendo 64 RF Switch/RF Modulator came in blister packaging. This was the only "Blister Package" release, as the initial releases came in cardboard packaging. The part number above the UPC is NUS A RR2, whereas the two cardboard releases had the part number NUS A RR. The part number for the blister package is U/NUS-A-RR2-USA. The RF Switch and RF Modulator did not change part numbers during the Nintendo 64's lifespan.
