Parasite Eve has been a favorite of mine since I first got it for Christmas in 1998. Here's a look at how it holds up now... and how much it could use a remaster.
Good stuff, Pam! I love Parasite Eve. I bought it early on in my PlayStation days, and really enjoyed it. I still listen to the soundtrack pretty frequently. I played through it again for the Cartridge Club, and streamed my journey through. It had been some 20 years since my last visit to it, and I believe it still holds up. I never did finish the Chrysler Building, though, so I may go back and give that another try. I always thought Aya was a well-written, balanced character, surprisingly good for the era. It's just a shame Square never saw fit to properly follow up the original with the same thing, but improved upon, opting for something else, instead. I would love to see a proper remake, with the full FF7 Remake treatment, or at least something along those lines.
