It's been a while I know. I'm not sure why, but garage sales have been really slow so far this year. Luckily, I finally have enough stuff from the past few weeks to make a worthwhile post.

I got these from the flea market two weeks ago from one of my regular sellers. I used to buy a lot from the guy, but when the flea market's main building burned down a year or two ago, he quit coming except for a few random occasions. But now that their new building is up, he is back to coming nearly every week even though he doesn't even set up inside the building. Anyway, the games were priced differently, but ended up being $7 total. I tried getting them for $5, but that made him think King's Quest was more valuable than he priced it at, so he wouldn't take any less than $7. I'm just glad I'm still finding NES games that I need.

These are the results of the first successful garage sale this year! For games anyway.
When I first spotted these SMB/DH was off to the side by itself and I didn't see the others, just the SMB/DH cartridge with $5 on it. For a split second I thought that was it, just a SMB/DH for $5, but then I noticed it said "all" on the sticker, so I looked around and found the rest of the games nearby. I only needed one game in the lot, but I couldn't pass up easy sellers like SMB3 and DK Classics for $5.
I didn't even bother try haggling on these.

The first thing I spotted at this garage sale was a "free box", my favorite kind of box. The top layer was your standard free box fare, glassware, random toys, bits and pieces of stuff, but on the bottom was this PS2 Slim. A little deeper was the power cord and A/V cables. I didn't bother asking if it worked, since I knew the answer already. But the guy at the sale told me it didn't work, and he seemed happy when I told him that I could probably fix it or use it for parts on other broken systems.

This is my last week of school for the semester, so I'll be able to go to some more garage sales on Fridays instead of just Saturday, so with a bit of luck, I'll be a little more successful in the coming months. But first, I need there to be more garage sales. I've only been to about 32 this year, usually by this time of year I'm going to that many in a week. It's rather annoying driving around all day to only go to a dozen sales, if gas keeps going up, I won't be able to afford that much longer.
