2009 was another great year for treasure hunting and for adding to my collection. Overall, I added over 400 new titles to my collection and even managed to sell a few duplicates. If you want to see every thing I bought or traded for this year, you can go here but I doubt very many of you want to do that, so below is my top ten favorite deals of the year.

Now, the moment you haven't been waiting for, my top ten deals of the year.

But wait, that's not all. The following are some other deals I wanted to mention again even thought they didn't make the top ten list.

Thanks to all of you who have read and enjoy these articles in the past. The 2010 garage sale and flea market should get started sometime in April, with a couple chances before that being possible but not probable. So be sure to keep it tuned right here to Channel 4 for all the latest tales of treasure hunting in Northeast Ohio.

Your deals have been amazing this year. Here's to Twenty-Ten! Cheesy

Your top 10 seems to be rather dominated by NES. I guess that should have been expected from "NES_Rules"

I loved checking your finds and being jealous. Looking forward to seeing what 2010 brings you Smiley

Man, I already forgot all about those, amazing deals!

Yep, even though winter slowed you down you still envied us... ¬_¬

I'm still jealous from that CDX Lot you got...

Nice lots!  I can't wait to here what you get this year.

Yea man your finds are spectacular!  Garage sales around here are horrible.  I could spend all day going to sales in the Summer and not find anything!

@Izret101: I didn't even realize 5 of the 10 had something NES-related in them. NES games are my #1 target while hunting so it would make sense for me to find more of them.

@gamepopper101: I forgot about the CDX lot when I did this, if I had remembered, it probably would have made it to the top ten. It was an amazing deal.

You were pretty thrilled about your Vic-20s when you got them too if memory serves.

I'm in the same boat as Spoon. I went out several times and i think my best pick up last year was a CIB playstation a couple girl/kids games and a CIB racing wheel.

@Izret101: I was thrilled with the Vic-20s when I bought them, but that faded once I tried to sell them. Turns out I couldn't get much more for them than I paid, and I still have one I couldn't sell. I probably should have added it to the list as "most disappointing purchase".

Here's to some good deals in 2010!

The NES lots are my favorite, as I too look mainly for those when I'm hunting (outside of handheld stuff that is), though I must give a nod to the TI find, 'cuz that is a whole lotta paper to come with such a vintage computer.

Congratulations on the great finds, and I wish you the best of luck in 2010!

man I need to get on Garage sales.....So lucky to find so many CIB games for so cheap!
we don't really have those in NYC Sad
