It's been several weeks since the last post, and I'm going to call it, the 2009 garage sale season is dead. At least around here, maybe in the more mild climates, people are still selling their junk but the cold wind and dropping leaves has brought death to garage sales and the flea markets around here. So here is my treasures from a while ago, I don't even remember when I bought all this stuff, so it's a good thing I wrote each item up when I got instead of trying to do it now. I haven't bought anything in the past two weeks, mainly because I didn't even go saling these last few weekends. There will be one more of these this year, sometime is December to account for any unexpected finds, and to give a recap on what I thought was this year's best finds.
This was all I bought a few weeks ago. These were both priced $1 each, a fine price for the condition of both, Tigershark is in excellent shape and the GB cleaner has never been used. But I knew I could do better, so I offered $1 for both, and my offer was accepted.
I found this in a box of random cartridges (2600, Genesis, SNES, NES, etc) I asked for a price and a guy said $2. I thought about buying it, but decided to pass on it because its not in the greatest shape. But after mulling it over in my head, I decided I should go back and grab it since NES games I don't own are getting harder and harder to find. So I went back to the spot, picked up the game and expected to pay $2 for it. But when the guy saw it, he said "$1" at that point I realized it was a different guy. So I paid the $1 and walked away very happy.
I picked these up from a regular at the flea market that I occasionally buy from (his prices are good, his inventory isn't usually good). I first saw the Space Station Silicon Valley game, he said it was $3, I set it back down because it was really dirty (general dirt and stickers) but then I saw the Ms. Pac-Man on the table, I figured it would be $3 as well, and I figured if I could get both for $5, I would. To my surprise, he said the Ms. Pac-Man was $2, and then said I could have the other for $2 as well. So of course, I bought them. The Lion King manual was a bonus in the Ms. Pac-Man box.
As of this posting, I have 2,346 total games, 1,913 unique games, and 433 duplicates. Which means I have 3 more total games, 4 more unique games, and 1 less duplicates since the last Treasure Hunt Chronicles installment. So far, I've spent $742.21 this year ($6 this installment) on gaming related stuff, and I spent $0.00 this week to ship stuff for trades and I brought in $2.85 from selling stuff, so I am down $250.07 this year. The total spent (amount spent on games plus amount spent on shipping for trades) this year, is $824.86 To sum up this year's stats, I have 424 more total games, 435 more unique games, and 11 less duplicates. And I have a "loss" of $250.07 for the year.

Your yearly spent total is looking really good with the amount of games you purchased. Congrats on a great year of finds.

@Ghost Soldier: Ditto. You really didn't spend a lot considering the amount of games you bought, well done!

A GB Cleaner? I've never seen them, let alone a new one! O_O
Sucks that flea markets are very bad in your area, I couldn't go to the car boot last Sunday due to bad weather.
You could go back to online orders but...I'm not sure you would do that...

@Ghost Soldier: & @Sirgin: That's the point
@gamepopper101: I think after seeing the effect dust/dirt had on the NES, the public was eager to buy cleaning products for all their cartridges.
