When you sign up for Nintendo's online service you are given the option to purchase NES style bluetooth controllers, so you can play the classic games with a more authentic feel. Well my friend Alex sent me a set of them to customize to one of his favorite classic Mario games. Super Mario Bros 3. This was a fun build and introduce some challenges that I had to overcome. Enjoy the video.
Awesome stuff, Russ! When I saw the thumbnail, my first thought was, "How do you charge the controller, since it has to slide onto the Switch?" The magnets are a good idea, and seem to be an elegant solution for it. The ears are a fun addition, and that was definitely a creative way to have your cake, and eat it too.
