Two weeks. Damn. It’s been a painful, painful two weeks, and the culmination of a painful month of ups and downs after being kicked off our shared host. It’s okay though, we’re on a dedicated server now, and it better keep us up now. Needless to say the downtime was a harsh time for many. RF Generation was down! Oh my God! What was one to do? Where was one to get their fix? What is this… world outside of RF Generation?

If you were like me, you probably kept refreshing things to see what the progress was on the transition to the new server. It was truly painful. Refresh Send and Receive, continuously… I was a slave to my inbox. Fortunately, it didn’t totally consume me. How could it when the transition is out of your control? So, I personally did other things while the site was down. School, for example. I hear that I am finally going to get my degree in three weeks. Oh boy. There were other interesting things though, like enjoying the nice weather and playing video games. Playing through Mario and Luigi, again. Good game. So is Okami. So, I had some diversions to keep occupied with while the site was down, what about you?

What kept you occupied while RF Generation was down? Did you find yourself outside, or did you stick around the TV and game the days away? Perhaps you found something else to do? I sure hope it isn’t what gannonbanned did. He feasted upon the brains of the living. That zombie in the picture above is a representation of what we think he looked like prior to being permanently locked up in his parent’s basement. I guess that is what he gets for trying to get the girls’ future teller thing. It’s just not meant to be handled by guys, let alone people older than 12. Just don’t give in to peer pressure, gannonbanned!

So, what did you do? I certainly hope it was a bit tamer than what gannonbanned did, and more exciting than constantly refreshing an Outlook Inbox. Either way, do tell, especially if it involves feasting upon the brains of the living or something similar.

good to finally see the site back. i played gta iv alot until i got 100%, and i slept.

I twisted my knee just a couple days after the site went down, so not only could I not visit the greatest site on the internet, but I couldn't go outside and barely walk, for almost a week. But during that time, I managed to beat Super Paper Mario and I got half way through Mario Kart Wii. To pay for MKWii, I sold all my Hotwheels City stuff from when I was younger, so that was kind of an accomplishment for me. And this Monday I started building a new shelf for my game room that will hold 325 DVD size games or 175 boxed Genesis games. It's nearly done now, I'm putting on the polyurethane coating tonight.

I gamed alot... and got two wisdom teeth ripped out.

Picked up a 360...but didn't play it yet

I got hired as a Sales Associate and began contributing to society! Hooray!

Sunday-
It was mothers day and figured while I was eating Dinner I'd start the re-formating of my computer.  By the time I got done, I'd realized I forgot to take my wifi card out and would have to do it all over again if I ever wanted to get online again.  Decided it was too late and went to bed.

Monday-Too tired to screw with computer.

Tuesday-Got everything mostly ready, was still too tired.

Wednesday-Decided, come what may, I WOULD get back online.  Took wifi card out and re-formated my comp.  Put wifi card back in, got online.  Site was down.  Not only was it down, it was down for 3 days?

Following Monday-It's going on 5 days sense I got back online and still no RFG.  May as well actualy play something.  Wii sounds good, more Guitar Hero sounds great.

Tuesday-Bored.  Realy bored.  RFG's still down, work sucks, I itch, and I have the strong desire to eat the meat of living animals.  GH3 is getting to be a pain.

Wednesday-It's been a week, where is RFG?  Why does everything taste like bacon?  I still hate my job.

Someday-No more GH3, it's time for No more Heros.  Cutting people in half equals fun.  Looking at dogs, do they taste good?

Someday day 2-I cant remember what RFG looks like.  I know it's a web site but is it a gaming site?  Porn site?  E-mail site?  I dont know but No More Heros is boring me now and my dogs all have worried looks on their faces.  It's time for Zelda.

Someday day 3-I had this realy weird dream last nite.  I drempt RFG was up and I was able to log on for 5 minutes.  Then it went down.  Then it was up again only it required a credit card account to use the site.  Contacted TraderJake only to be told it's become a pay site and staff are required to pay double.  I woke up coverd in sweat.

A couple days ago-While playing zelda I looked around and realized, I'm finaly playing games again!  I havent ate any of my dogs, I still miss RFG, but I'm finaly playing the games!

2 days ago-Informed, site will return shortly.  Overjoyed, extremly happy, still hating work, and wishing my boss liked realy fat guys cause she's realy hot.  Back to playing zelda, it's fun.

I actually played some games!

I claimed the win over some achievement whores over at 360voice.com.  It was a close match as I only won by 80 points.
