We're back and we dragged yet another willing participant in with us! den68 joins us for this episode and, as will happen when talking about your 6000+ game collection, things get a little strange. Regardless, we want to thank Dennis for joining us and we hope you enjoy the episode! Also, because of the ridiculousness that was brought up, we're going to have a little caption contest. Details inside!

0:00 - Intro
1:46 - Interview with den68!
22:25 - What's New on Channel 3?
22:53 - Gaming News
41:25 - Game Shout Out!
54:10 - Top 5: Things hardcore video game collectors notice when setting up a new home.
55:04 - Outro

Caption Contest: Using the picture below, send us your favorite caption either via e-mail, blog comment, forum post or phone call. While this isn't much of a prize, it's something at least. If we pick your caption to be the winner, I'll make and e-mail a cell phone ringtone (~30 seconds) out of an NES, SNES, Genesis, or Game Boy game music track! So get your entries in!

As always, you can comment in the forums, comment in this blog post, e-mail us, and even call us. We hope to be able to take your quick questions over any subject via e-mail at podcast@rfgeneration.com. You can also call us and leave a message! We can play your question or comment in the episode and we'll even respond to it! That number is (318) RFG-TIP5 or (318) 734-8475.

Here is the forum thread to comment: http://www.rfgeneration.c...m/index.php?topic=10730.0

The podcast, as usual, can be found and subscribed at http://rfgeneration.podomatic.com as well as in iTunes!

Why is there vasoline...and gloves? (see bottom and top left)
Cleaning your collection - you're doing it wrong.
...
Bathtub full of fail

Also, yes, the first thing I noticed was the bottle and gloves and not the fact that it was a dirty bathtub.

^Um...that's a luffa and not gloves...and that's a bottle of shampoo out of the corner and I believe the baby shampoo is what you're mistaking for vasoline.  And yes, while the water is a little better now, there's a reason why we're moving in two months.  That tub staining is the price of living out in the country in Pennsylvania with well water.  Even after our water treatment stuff I still don't use it for drinking or house/collection cleaning.  Figured the vinyls would be fine, though.

For a moment, I almost expected to see Kamino in that tub.

Another excellent podcast.

Here's my caption:
"Forget the rubber ducky, this is what a true gamer brings to bathtime".

@slackur: We had the same problems when we had well water. There was no such thing as white clothes, everything had an orange tint to them. And there was nothing better than a glass of water that looked like some kind of juice. And we didn't use any kind of filtration or anything, it came straight from the ground to the water pipes. We had to switch to city water when it started getting a really bad sulfur smell in addition to the iron.

caption: "I can't believe I ate the whole thing!"

"And thats when the Dust Sleeve woke up and realized his Kidneys were missing!!!"

Jess you can now consider us even for me turning you on to Recca. Hyperdimension Neptunia looks amazing!! Cant wait to track down a copy!

Great show guys. Another fantastic guest and definitely one of the people I like hearing from.

Also nice edit on the Catherine release. That made me laugh a bit.

^Thanks!  Although I have to warn you, Hyperdimension Neptunia isn't up to the same quality standards as most modern RPGs; the graphics are lacking, the dialogue is middle-school drama quality at best, the dungeon designs are simple and uninspired...etc.

Then again, if you're anything like me, the surreal, fanfic-ish nature of it's very existence is enough to pick it up.  And it can be very fun under the right expectations.

None of those things are turning me off of it. It just sounds so ridiculous that it's bound to be awesome.
