Sorry for taking a week off, but things have been hectic lately! As such, I'm including two videos this week showing Arino taking on Astro Robo SASA and Galaga.
Arino infamously has problems completing challenges for shmup titles, so the staff has decided that he needs to overcome this problem by throwing two more shooting titles at him.
Astro Robo SASA is a Japan-only Famicom release. Gameplay revolves around the User collecting energy by floating in the air and shooting to propel the character towards the targets and avoiding the enemies.
Clear Condition: Complete all 16 stages.
Galaga
Everyone knows Galaga, right?! This version is played on the Famicom, and is available in most regions on the Nintendo NES.
Clear Condition: Obtain 10,000 points on a bonus stage.

Apologies, the Galaga release is the PlayStation Museum release, NOT the Famicom release. Also, interesting music decision for the Galaga video.

Gotta love the highscore initials!
|
@Crabmaster2000: He's infamous for those initials. Every time he sets a high score, he makes sure to put those initials in.

@Shadow Kisuragi:
He's infamous for those initials. Every time he sets a high score, he makes sure to put those initials in.
And boy, does he. Especially on the arcade games during his game center tours.
Though I'd love to see him mix it up a bit, like inputting ASS or POO every once in a while.
BTW not to spoil anything, but if the Top Score screen allows a fourth character, he'll add a Y to the end of his initials.

I'm surprised at how fast he gave up on SASA, that one was really short. Why does Arino always strap things to his head? Is he a profuse sweater or what?
|
@Duke.Togo: Sometimes, he'll do it to look like a Guerilla soldiers. Most of the time, he'll slap on a sweat band or cooling patch.
|
I've poured countless amounts of quarters into Galaga machines. It is one of my favorites of all time.
|
Hilarious, as always. The Galaga challenge seemed doable, even to me. That SASA game seems made to frustrate, though.
Always funny how he goes from the clean look, to taking off his jacket, to having his tie around his head!
