Welcome to another Let's Watch: GameCenter CX article! This week, I've decided to release this episode early due to the shortness of the episode. Expect another episode on Friday!

Previously, Arino interviewed Atsushi Inaba, a producer for Tekki [Steel Battalion outside Japan] and learned the history behind the infamous controller. He then proceeded to challenge the title and see how far he could make it while playing it on a theatre screen.

This week, Arino's back and playing another Life Simulator game, Roommania #203 for the Sega Dreamcast. He's quite familiar with the title, as he purchased it when he was released. However, there was one scenario he never completed on his own - the romance scenario. Viewers may remember his trials with Angelique Trois in S1E2, but will things be different this time?

Win Condition: Complete the Romance scenario with the good ending.

As always, leave your comments and feedback below and enjoy the show.

Seems like kind of a lame game. And the ending didnt make it look any better. Poor Arino, even though he achieved his goal he didnt realize it....

That sucks I hate when games move to fast for you to finish reading something.

The Japanese make some REALLY weird games...

I didn't think this game was weird at all. I like the concept a lot, actually.

"...but using this strategy guide, I will try to get the happy ending."

Guess this means there's a massage parlor scene somewhere in the game... :p

@blcklblskt:

Not to spoil anything for ya, but I've already I've looked ahead at several subsequent episodes. If you thought Roommania was weird, you ain't seen nothin' yet.

It's kinduva proto-Sims / Second Life, don'cha think? Only it has an actual ending to it.

@Zagnorch P. Welinskivich II, Esq.:
You get an egg roll instead.

I don't know what it is about dating sims, train sims, and horse racing games but the Japanese sure love them for some reason. I think it is interesting that the Kacho played this game before. Since he sucks at shooters I am guessing the slower paced games are more his thing.

Lol, what a game. Only the Japanese could come up with this. Was it released outside of Japan? (Seems doubtful)

The "happy ending" is a lot easier to reach in God of War than in this, hahaha...

Roommania was a Japanese-exclusive.
