I found a boxed Sega 32X today. It was complete except for the documentation. $14.00

I also found a bunch of stategy guides for $1.95 each. all were in beautiful condition:

Small Soldiers - PS1
Chrono Cross - PS1
Medal of Honor: Underground - PS1
Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask - N64
Super Mario 64 - N64
Maximo: Ghosts to Glory - PS2
Dragon Warrior III - GBC
Dragon Warrior Monsters II - GBC

and lastly World League Soccer for SNES loose. 99 cents

That rocks!  I have a 32X, but it's nowhere near boxed.

Congrats on the finds, Den.  Do you have another 32X besides that one?  If not, better check the internet for the documentation, because sadly that's one of the most important things for the system.

It's the 3rd one I've found. I only bought it for the box. and yeah, I've got a nice printout of the docs just not the originals.

Why is the documentation for this system so special compared to others?

It's really important that you set the 32X up correctly when connecting it to your Genesis, or you could have a setup that is hazardous to the health of you and your games alike.

Yeah, I still haven't hooked up my 32x because I don't want to accidentily fry something.  I've been considering getting a boxed 32x from Ebay for the box and docs, but nothing has looked good yet.

Nice find Den.

It's not that complicated as long as you have all the correct parts. The main thing that is often missing when finiding these things in the wild is the short cable that connects the 32X to the Genesis. If you don have that you're SOL. the little metal clips that help hold the 32X securely in place you can do without.

When I got my 32X, I was lucky enough to buy it from a place that knew what they were doing, and they told me how to hook it up.  Like Den said, it's really easy to do as long as you have that short wire.

I got it somewhere.  Maybe I should try to hook it up this weekend.
