As most of you probably know, the US economy is not exactly in the best of conditions right now. Reeling is a good term to use, really. So, in this time of great uncertainty and sadness, why not check out this lighthearted take on the Second Great Depression?
Well, that explains a lot about the economic collapse. Also, I'd totally buy that game. It's full of win.
So, Seth MacFarlane does this show called Family Guy. It's quite popular, and you might have heard of it. Turns out that he also does another show called American Dad, which is also quite humorous. Well, Seth MacFarlane has also started a lovely new thing on Youtube called Seth MacFarlane's Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy, completely sponsored by Burger King. Hail the King.
Anyways, this week marks what appears to be the beginning or close to the beginning of the show, and well, this week, Seth tackles what really happened after Mario saved Peach. Enjoy the show!
As you may or may not know, Tondog is a huge fan of MGS4. If he could, he'd probably have Kojima's babies. Unfortunately, or fortunately for him, he is a guy, and such a thing is physically impossible. That said, lots of people bought MGS4, including Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw. See, Yahztee does Zero Punctuation, which in the realm of the internet geared towards gamers is absolutely hilarious. Today, Yahtzee is reviewing Metal Gear Solid 4, and well... why don't you watch it for yourself.
So, what'd you think? Personally, I am part of the group not currently already entrenched in Metal Gear Solid, so I think I'll follow this advice and just not play the game. Not really my cup of tea anyways. But then, I don't drink tea. What about you? Did Yahtzee strike a nerve, or do you wholeheartedly agree?
For those of you who are not from the states, Coast to Coast AM is a nationally syndicated talk show hosted by George Noory. They talk about stuff. CRAZY stuff. UFOs, nanobots, Gnostic Texts, it's all covered on Coast to Coast AM. Certainly, if you enjoy listening to something that isn't meant to be humorous but is, this show is for you. Also, what else are you going to listen to while driving from 12 to 5 am? Bubba Bo and America's Truckin' Network? I certainly think not.
So, somewhere, somehow, Gordon Freeman got the guts to actually say a few words about his dealings with the G-Man with Gordon Noory. Always out of Gordon's Grasp, but always there... watching. Waiting... Brooding... anyways, it's a delightfully interesting conversation between "Gordon" and George, and the best part is that George totally believes everything "Gordon" says! And that, my friends, is why late night radio kicks ass. Check it out, listen for yourself.
This is where my thoughts go and are never heard from again.
Well, maybe not, but this is the repository for all of my published thoughts and rantings. It'll make my day if you find at least 10% of it amusing and enjoyable to read.
