Rfgeneration Community,
I just recently moved from America to Sicily, Italy and I need your assistance. I was very fearful that moving out of country was really going to tamper with my collecting and it has to and extent.
But I was in the local Gamestop out here and I was looking through the Pal selection of PS2 titles and I noticed a couple games that seemed interesting. That were exclusives out here. So while I do miss my American games I do embrace the fact that I can start over in the sense of a new selection of games. I bought my first PAL game today and it is called Splatter Master and it looks awesome ( Still currently need to buy European PS2).
What I need help with from are amazing community here at Rfgenerations is some suggestions on PAL exclusives that I should keep a eye out for. I thought I knew my stuff when it came to gaming but I just got a big wake up call. Please Help and share as much knowledge as you can with this new market to me.

What system, Tadpole? Also, would you be willing to trade for American exclusives?

Italian NES games are tougher finds as far as PAL releases go from what I have read.
I'm sure more of our Euro members can chime in with suggestions.

@Duke.Togo: Somewhat of an oddity, but a local Mega Man PAL CIB has an Italian cart, Italian box w/ Australian info on it, and UK Manual. Not sure if it's like that normally.

I don't know much about PAL exclusives aside from N64 titles, so I'm afraid I cannot be of much help. I'd definitely be interested in any information you can find about -ITA N64 cartridges, as I'm currently limited to what I find on ebay.it.

I have yet to see any games older then the PS2 here. I am sure some places will prob carry some older stuff but I have yet to find it. Currently I am limited to what Gamestop has to offer. I just bought 2 more PAL PS2 games today. One is called Castle Shikigami II War of the worlds. Which is like a top down shooter. Also I bought a game called NYR New York Race. It is a racing game inspired by the Fifth Element. Could be interesting.
I am not really hurting for any American Exclusives Shadow but if you wanted me to keep my eye out for any specific games I can. I think PSP, PS3, Nintendo DS and PSVITA do not have region codes. But I am not sure about the other systems. I do know PS2 has one so those games wont work on your system back in the states.

It turns out they have Castle of Shikigami in the states. So I was wrong about that.

@Tadpole13: Who said I cared if it worked on my NTSC box? I just love imports, and I'll pick up a system to make it work if I need to.

There's a charity shop near me that had two Italian Platinum PS2 games in there last time. They were GTA3 and one of the Ratchet and Clank games.

As far as the DS library goes, the only exclusive that I know of are 'Sailor Moon: La Luna Splende', which is --to my knowledge-- Italian only. There is also '!Shin Chan: Flipa en colores!', which was also released in Spain and Japan. I am to understand that the former of these games is a mediocre platformer better suited for the GBA's abilities, while the latter is a decent/good game. I can only speak about reputation, though, as I have played neither (I'm looking to import the Spanish copy of Shin-Chan, though that doesn't help you any).
However, I imagine many Italian exclusives never make it to English language notice, on account of the language/culture barrier. Specifically, the GAMER culture barrier insures that any game likely to remain an Italian exclusive --that is, niche games with minimal outside appeal-- is unlikely to wind up in the online gamer consciousness. Because really, how many gamers will take notice of Random Italian Sudoku Game?.
That said, any sleuth work you are able and willing to do on this front would be awesome.

@Shadow Kisuragi: It very well could be, as I think all three of those countries are PAL A.
@Tadpole13: Rodland for NES was only released for Spain and Italy, so if you find that one it's a real winner.
I'd watch for any Italian NES games. If you can pick up any for a reasonable price you should be able to sell, and I'd certainly be interested.

Thanks for the heads up. Like I said I have yet to see anything older then the PS2 era here so far. But it is good to Know nes games are what I need to keep my eyes out for.
