A couple of months ago, we held the annual donation drive to raise money to pay the server bills for the coming year. Throughout the two months, we raised a total of $218, which at a rate of $85/month is enough to get us halfway through March before we run out. So as a last ditch effort, we're making a final push to raise donations so that RFGen can make it through another year.
As we have said time and time before, this site is run completely by volunteers and operated on donations from the community. Any money donated is strictly used for paying off the operating costs of running the site (aka the server bill). It's because of the generous support of the RFGen community that we've been able to provide the tools and community forums that we have all come to love.
As an added incentive,
I will personally match all donations given in the month of January until we raise enough to pay off the the bills for the remainder of the year. Let's keep this thing going for another year!

Yet again, I am amazed at the generosity of the RFGen members. We've had a strong response within the first 24 hours, raising almost $200 so far. We're still only about half way there, but if this first day is any indication I think it's a safe bet RFGen will be around into 2012. Thanks a ton to those who donated in the past day! I'll make an official update with all the proper recognitions at the end of the week. We've still got a ways to go to make our goal, but we're off to a great start!

I'd like to, but I'm unemployed. I should hopefully be starting a job sometime this week though. Is there an expiration date to how long you'll be excepting donations, or is this a continuous event? I'd like to contribute, but I don't know if I'll be able to until I've got a couple of paychecks under my belt, and that could be a little while.

I've always thought that if every member donated $1 this site would be set. Maybe you should have a $1 per year membership fee? I think for the work that you guys do and the service that this site provides, no one would be able to argue with $1 per year.

I for one would not mind seeing the occasional Google ad or perhaps Amazon affiliate link. We all buy games...why not buy some through Amazon with a link from RFGen that gives you guys a little bit of money. Just a thought.
