Slackur's Obscure Gaming Theatre

Just snapped a quick pic of my new temporary anime shelf.  Sure, its only a cardboard cutout featuring some unknown indie game that will likely stay obscure, but I kinda like it. Wink

Vaporware :-P

I have the same Eva boxset. Bestbuy was selling it for like 80 bucks and i think i snagged it for 30 and change Smiley

Also how is Bubble Gum Crisis?I have only ever heard good things but i remember even when i was a pirate i had a hard time finding it(in fact i never did...)

O.O How the hell did you manage to get that? Do you work at GameStop or something?

Bubblegum Crisis is hit and miss with people. I watched it and the newer series, and quite a few people disliked it.

I'm drooling over that GITS SAC boxset though...

@Shadow Kisuragi: Apparently we have the same taste. I share over 3/4 of your collection. Smiley

@lokkenjawnz:  All you have to do, dude, is watch the dumpster...

@bombatomba: Wink

@Shadow Kisuragi: We might share more than that; I couldn't fit all of my anime here, so I just took most of it off one overloaded shelf and set this up for the moment.

@Izret101:  I think original Bubblegum Crisis love ties into two main factors: if you can get into J-pop music and if you like eighties style anime (Japan's equivalent to G.I. Joe and He-Man.)  If the older series of Robotech and Sailor Moon annoy you, the war between the Knight Sabers and Genom will likely make you roll your eyes.

Me, I like old school cyberpunk, and BC has style.  If you want a warm-up to see if you can handle Priss' gang, try A.D. Police.  It's a side story to the BC series and plays out as a buddy-cop adventure in the same universe.
