The Stuff of DreamsThe Stuff of Dreams

As you all know, I love all things Nintendo, but what I love the most out of all my Nintendo Stuff is my NES Collection. It's not that big, but it's getting there. Here's some pictures of it.

I do have lots of other Nintendo Merchandise, but this just happens to be my favorite stuff. I have some pretty obscure stuff, like a Virtual Boy and a Nintendo Anniversary Game Boy Micro. I even have the Super Mario Bros. Movie on DVD! Your probably thinking that I'm crazy for owning that, but I think it's pretty good, and when someone tells me otherwise, I just shrug it off and tell them that that's they're opinion and that it's fine with me. Fun Fact: There's a Super Mario Bros. Anime (Japanese Animation) in Japan, but from what I understand, it was only released on VHS, and it's really hard to find now. Anyway, this post was basically just to show you all my collection of NES Stuff, so I'm gonna stop writing here.

Thanks for reading!

Good start on the collection.  I love NES games, and it looks like you happened across some good ones, except King's Knight and Hydlide, which remain the bane of my youth and shall remain cursed forever more.

Love the boxed Bayou Billy and Ultima, though.

DUDE!  Earthbound repro!  You're automatically awesome.  Don't let Bickman2K know you have that, he might track you down.  Still need to pick one up myself.

You definitely have some greats there.  Swords and Serpents with a FourScore and some graph paper has kept me and friends up for a few weekends.

Can't go wrong with the Marios, I love me some Double Dragon II and Kung Fu is one of the first NES games I 'beat.'

Here's to the start of a dangerously addictive, occasionally expensive, and incredibly fun collection!

@slackur:

I know I'm gonna regret asking this, but why shouldn't I let this Bickman2K know I have that? Do they hate repros? Do they have an urge to collect them? What is it?

@ReddMcKnight:

lol (Sounds like SOMEONE hasn't listened to the RFGeneration Nation Podcast!  For shame! Wink  )
Adam (Bickman2K) and I host our podcast around here, and he's mentioned Earthbound (Snes release) a few times, including calling it his favorite game.  According to his collection stats he doesn't have the NES repro, so I just threw that out as a tease.

Is that dark grey divining-rod-looking thing with the red buttons a light gun of some sort? I thought the QuickShot series were a line of joystick controllers?

@Zagnorch:

It is not a light gun. It's some kind of Flight Stick. Smiley

EARTHBOUND ZERO! *drools*

It's always fun to get to see pictures of everyone's collection. I occasionally look through some of the profiles with pictures in "All Collections" list, but getting them in a blog format lets us all discuss, which is incredibly fun for me because it's yet another outlet for me to geek out and talk about what you personally enjoy and what you have.
