Check the part number on the game, often but not always it'll end in - CAN.
The games occasionally also come packaged with a second copy of the manual. Sometimes its oversized and shrink wrapped on the outside of the game, but more often its just tucked in with the other one. In each case it's always a french manual.
Lastly check online scans of the US release of the same game. If the copy you have that you suspect is CAN region on the back of the case it'll have french descriptions in addition to the english ones while the US release will lack the french.
Look up boxart online. If you can find one for sale that has the same art in the US chances are it is not canadian exclusive. If you find one with only english on it and you have one that is english french you probably have a canadian variant.
You can also check UPC codes. If your pull up results for a bunch of .ca websites. Probably canadian.
