Quest for Glory is a hybrid adventure-RPG series from Sierra. In the first entry in the series, you find yourself in the Valley of Spielburg. The land has been cursed by an Ogress, the Baron's children are missing, and a band of Brigands terrorize the town. Can you solve all of these problems and become a hero?

One of my favorite childhood games! I've beaten almost every game in the series. One day I'll go back and finish V. Thanks for the review I hope you review the rest of the series.

Nice review, Pam!  I grew up playing the original King's Quest, and dabbled a bit with Space Quest, because a friend had it, but never really messed with any of the other games in Sierra's 'quest' series.  This one looks like it would be a lot of fun, so I may have to track this one down.  I may have to see if this is on Steam...

@MetalFro:

Steam:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/502750/Quest_for_Glory_15/

GOG:
https://www.gog.com/game/quest_for_glory

It's cheaper on GOG right now at $3.33

@Addicted: I plan to review them all, it might take a bit though.

@MetalFRO: You definitely should give it a go, it's a lot of fun.

@Addicted: Hmm, I wonder if this would be playable via a controller, so if the Rainway app comes out, I could stream this to my Switch...
