Remember that Summer Gaming list I posted a couple of weeks ago? Well I had a big change of heart. Mostly because I couldn't seem to get into the majority of the games I started up. So I scrambled and came up with a list I feel much better about:
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night Cthulhu Saves the World Daytona USA Garou: Mark of the Wolves Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Indigo Prophecy Jet Set Radio Future Ninja Gaiden Black Sonic Adventure X-Men
Please leave words of encoragement below!
Recent Entries In Which I Describe Pizza Tower at an Exhaustingly Long Length (7/31/2024) Remasters, Remakes, Rereleases, and Remembering the Past (3/30/2024) The Top 5 Survival Horror Games for the Sega Dreamcast (2/20/2024) Trombone Champ Is a Good Game (12/30/2023) Thoughts on the Nintendo Switch OLED Model (11/21/2023)
That's a really nice list. I doubt you'll have any problems with that list except for X-Men.

is X-Men notoriously hard? I'll most likely co-op with my wife as she enjoys beat-em-ups. I just need to pick up a 2nd 360 controller first. And really, the list is more about devoting time to experiencing he games, so I'll count quarter-feeding a beat-em-up as "beaten"
@noiseredux: you could play it on the PS3, if you have two controllers there.
@dsheinem: ooh, I actually had forgotten it was on PSN. That's right!
X-Men's not bad - didn't realize it was the arcade version.
Castlevania is wonderful...i still have to 200% it. JSRF is one of my fondest xbox memories, its super enjoyable.
as for ninja gaiden, I have never replayed a game so many times and left it incomplete. i STILL havn't beaten it, and have four save files all up to the final boss.
I have Castlevania on my list as well. Looking forward to finally playing it.

Hey, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City! It's one of the few modern games I've played to completion. I liked it. I've played most of the other GTA games, Vice City is right up there. I do remember there being a couple glitchy type things if you are looking to get the 100% or 200% or whatever the top % is. One has to do with a later mission being incredibly hard unless you get a hint or two. The other you kinda need to know about early if you are looking for that top % but doesn't matter for the regular missions/story.
DAAYYYYYYYTOOOOOOOOONAAAAAAAA! That game is still such a treat to play. Lots of fun on Xbox Live, easy to get all the achievements, and worth playing with the original racing wheel if you have it. Looks like a fun list!
@nupoile:Really? I had thought that Vice City was the easiest of the GTA games to 100%. I think San Andreas is technically the easiest, but it takes so freaking long while the minutiae of GTA3 reduced me to tears at times.
Great list, though.
@bombatomba: Yes. I got stuck at just below 100%. I didn't really want to say too much in case noiseredux didn't want spoilers. The thing that glitches you into not getting quite 100% is if you try to do something before a certain point, if you don't try and do it there is no glitch. So it is easily avoided either on purpose or on accident. This problem and the one mission that has a difficulty problem I think are just for one console. I don't remember for sure if I played it on xbox or ps2, sorry.
