Hey everyone third post of the day! Been a while since I have done that (wait have I ever posted three, hmmm o well). My brother and I have done some shopping and we purchased a few cool items. The first one was SimEarth on SNES for $1.98 which is pretty cheap, the cartridge is in great condition no tears on the label and no markings. My brother has a ton of points in Club Nintendo SO to add to the collection of our Legend of Zelda items he bought the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D Soundtrack, WHICH can only be purchased through CLUB NINTENDO! (You don't have points in the club GET SOME!!!) The CD is new never opened and NEVER will be opened. He also bought Records of Agarest War Zero Limited Edition (too add to our huge collection of Collector's, Limited, and Special Editions). Today we went to CD Tradepost in Bellevue, NE. We found a few nice items one was Atari VIDEO PINBALL complete in box!!! It was only $35.00! Then we also bought Alien Vs. Predator Extinction which is a pretty good game and can be quite costly but we bought it at $17.00. Also we purchased the Halo: The Essential Visual Guide from Borders (which is going out of business) for $13.00. He purchased the Art of Halo brand new from Half Price Books for $8.00 and it is selling new on Amazon for $45.00. So hope you all enjoyed this post and here are a few pictures. Also a few weeks back we purchased complete in box Atari 2600 Paddles in box for $4.00.

Another item that my brother has purchased is this mint condition guide of Legend of Zelda: Tips and Tactics. This guide is pretty rare and he bought it off eBay off a girl who didn't have a clue what she was selling. One guy is selling this guide on eBay right now for $75.00 BUY IT NOW price. This guide is complete even with the map/legend included. This guide is full of amazing pictures to help anyone who loves this game with the tools needed to complete this game (well me I just used the Game Genie). This guide is a great addition to our strategy guide collection and big add to our collection of Zelda items.

Hey everyone! Been a while since I have posted about our eBay chronicles. I just moved back from Florida because the job market is very hard down there. BUT WHILE I WAS AWAY my brother kept on eBay shopping. For a purchase of $40.00 he bought 36 SUPER FAMICOM games in their boxes all but one is complete with instructions. Some of the popular titles would include Sim City Jr., P.T.O. II, Romance The Three Kingdoms III, Super Baseball II and some others. This collection is awesome and definitely adds to the great import collection we have started. The Super Famicom as is the SNES is one of the best systems ever made (Sorry Sega Fans) the system especially in Japan had hundreds of titles and our new addition is only a small percentage of games to come. Hope you all enjoy please leave comments and here are some pictures with some descriptions. Also in another eBay purchase he bought two ULTIMA Famicom Games complete in Box!

I am hoping at some point my collection posts get put on the front page of the website. Hope you all enjoy please post on and tell people about this blog and our others.
Hey there everyone! Been a while since I made a post. So here we go! Game collector's I have talked to in my area or friends who want to collect have wondered kind like "how may licks does it take to get to a center of a tootsie pop?" well how many strategy guides does it take to have a collection. Well the answer is 2! But honestly I have over 1000 strategy guides. Some of the rare ones I have are:
Lunar 2: Eternal Blue - Hardcover Strategy Guide - Sells for over $75.00 online Star Wars: The Complete Saga Guide by Prima Games - Sells for over $100 on some sites including Amazon. Why you might ask? Well this guide is full of errors which make the guide more valuable!! I know shocking huh? Well as an avid baseball card collector (I own over a million baseball cards) error cards can be quite valuable, even if it's just a birthday error or whatever. But this guide is amazing because it has every bit of detail that exists in the game and clearly the errors do not. Both Lego Indiana Jones guides they catch a few high prices on the market. Chrono Trigger - SNES Official Nintendo Player's Guide catches a pretty good price online.
Strategy guides come in all different types and sizes. Prima Game Guides and BradyGames all started off as what companies called Unauthorized Game Guides!!! Why? Because the game companies didn't want to endorse the games during those times. But now Prima and BradyGames are the highest and best quality game guides you can get on the market.
The best type of game guides that are released are hard cover game guides such as the most recent Mortal Kombat Special Edition Guide or Call of Duty: Black Ops. The hardcover guides are the best guides. Why? They stay in better shape and are hard to destroy. The best place to find old guides for games you might have sitting in your collection like for your NES or SNES or even GENESIS games you can get them at book stores, Thrift Stores, Half Price Books if you have one or Gamers if you have one. Sadly Game Stop doesn't sell out of print game guides. Or the best online places are Amazon and EBay!!!
If you have any questions about Game Guides or curious if I have one you are looking for (Sorry not for sale unless I have doubles, but I only have a few of those) just hit me up. Also more to come on Game Guides and My complete list of Game Guides will hopefully come soon.
Hey there everyone! My brother and I went to Gamers here in Omaha last week and bought a bunch of Intellivision Games! Yeah I know not a huge library of games & it was in not even comparable to Atari 2600 or ColecoVision at it's time of arrival. We own a bunch of games out of their boxes but yet this tops the cake, a bunch of games in their boxes. Some of these games we bought are quite rare like USCF Chess, Scooby-Doo's Maze and Q*Bert (yes its kind of rare according to digitpress. We also bought the IntelliVoice for only $6.95 its not pictured but we bought it along with quite a few games in their boxes all at $0.95 a piece!!!! Well hope you all enjoy the pictures if you have any questions or want to chat about video game collections hit me up!

Hey Everyone! Two Blogs Today. First one of the new Nick and Steve's Game Hunt eBay Series. Today I am showing you the great value of the SIMPSONS! I mean who doesn't love them. Well my brother does a lot. He has everything Simpsons. This would have to be one of the best items he has bought not just for the Simpsons but for our Video Game Collection. He bought Bartman Meets Radioactive Man on the NES BRAND NEW!!!! For $45.00 you think that's a lot? Well no it isn't when some are selling this difficult game to find for over $160.00 new! This guy he bought it from on eBay lost a lot of good games in bids that were new and factory sealed. My opinion you want money from eBay do BUY IT NOW instead of bidding.
Well here it is Factory Sealed Brand New Great Addition to Our Collection

Here is the second of the eBay series tonight. I think I might of mentioned about my brother and I buying a lot of Sega 32x Games on eBay the other day. But maybe not. Well as I was on eBay about a week ago I saw this lot of games and what was on top probably the second most expensive game on the Sega 32x WORLD SERIES STARRING DEION SANDERS!!!! This game retails just cart in range from $40 to $60 i have seen and cart and manual for $70 and higher. Well we got this game and 4 others for $80.00!!! World Series is in excellent condition easily worth over $100.00. This game was very underrated and limited released when it came out to do the untimely death of the Sega 32x. A great system but bulky. The other games COMPLETE in box are Mortal Kombat II, Metal Head, Star Wars Arcade and NFL Quarterback Club. My brother and I are only missing a few of the 32x Cart games and CD Games like Night Trap. Well here are the picture any questions just ask!

ENJOY!
Well everyone here is the third and final post for the day, MAYBE!!! I am working on a few little things in my collection and if I see something I might post about I will lol. Anyways, my brother bought Final Fantasy XI Complete With Hard Drive for the PS2. Now if only I can get my hands on a Network Adapter. This is a pretty cool item it comes with the game WHICH IS NEW SEALED!!! Everything is in mint condition. He bought it for $16.50 and that is a steal ha!! I've seen some sellers sell this for more. This game unfortunately is a paid subscription but being a big fan of RPG's we had to have it. We are also going to be buying the Special Edition of Final Fantasy 14 eventually, even though we won't play because I don't like paying monthly to play games. But another nice addition to the collection. Final Fantasy XI is a game that is still being played very much today online. My friend has played under many different characters with many different jobs. He has MAXED out all is characters and still has many of the side quests to do in all the many different territories and game expansions. Well here is the pictures hope you enjoy.

Hey everyone! I will now be posting two different types of Game Hunts - The Traditional Nick and Steve's Game Hunt and the all NEW Nick and Steve's Game Hunt Series!!! So this is how it is the regular Game Hunt Series will be posted when we get items at stores, garage sales and flea markets, kind of like NES_Rules Treasure Hunt Chronicles series which has pretty much inspired me to do the two series I have started. I hope to see my series published on the homepage of RF Generation as I am a huge fan of the website and would like to contribute more to the Gaming Community. Well all that said and done. I am going to post two new eBay Hunts today. The First is the SEGA GAME GEAR TV TUNER!!! YES correct they did have one ladies and gentleman for those who don't remember, which I am sure most of you do Well anyways my brother and I have been doing some great shopping on eBay and building our collection very fast with not just games but odds and ends.
The SEGA TV Tuner was a great addition back in the day when it was released on the Game Gear because so many people wanted a portable TV and this was an easy way to make one. As people bought these they became more rare and hard to find. We find them occasionally on eBay or at stores such as Gamers here. But to find it in the box is pretty hard to find in good condition, sadly no instructions, note that on the back it pretty much looks like the instructions. So MAYBE there wasn't any who knows. Well I am sure some of you do. So let me know. Anyways these things are pretty much useless now as the TV situation has turned to digital and no longer analog. BUT still pretty cool to have in a collection. Anyways, here are the pictures enjoy. Any questions just ask and please post. Thanks.

Well here is the second of the NEW Nick and Steve's Game Hunt - eBay series. AND I just got a package in the Mail from another eBay so instead of 2 Blogs you get THREE! Maybe more tomorrow. Hope you all liked the view of the TV Tuner. It's a pretty cool item. Now this next blog is about the good old Nintendo Player's Guides. NO not Nintendo Power but YES you could get them through Nintendo Power. These cool guides that were released had many different objectives like walkthroughs, descriptions and maps!!! Well we bought a few on eBay and before you know it we have almost a complete collection, except missing a few rare ones. These magazines you could only get through sending in mail order card packaged in NES released games or through Nintendo Power. There are a few pretty rare Player's Guides out there like Earthbound or Chrono Trigger. But in this lot my brother bought he received them from a lady who was selling women's shoes!!! Yes that is correct ha. Well he obtained a couple of rare ones!!! Final Fantasy III and The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening for the Original Game Boy. The other two guides we now have two copies of the Game Boy one which is about a good amount of Game Boy Games that have walkthroughs, hints and a game directory. The other double we have is the Top Secret Passwords guide which entails codes for NES, Game Boy and SNES. Well if you have any questions you know where to find me. Here are the pictures enjoy!

Hey RF Generation Users! And Newcomers! Sorry been a while since a blog and I promise an RPG one but this one is pretty interesting on its own and it's a Game Hunt! Okay my partner in crime my brother went and did a little eBay shopping. The stuff he bought and sorry no pictures for the earlier items this is a blog about the "pirate carts" here in a bit. Started off with Mega Man x4 on the Sega Saturn for $20.00. Second item bought was Arc The Lad Collection on PS1 complete in MINT Condition!!! And for only $44.00!!! Unbelievable!! Then he bought some other little items here and there. Big ONE Lufia: The Legend Returns on Game Boy Color BRAND NEW NEVER BEEN OPENED!!!! It is selling for new on eBay for $150 or higher and he got it for $60.00!!! What a steal haha. Anyways...there were a few more things but he was on a Game Boy & Game Boy Color binge and in one lot he decided to buy a bunch of games for like $22.00. The Lot came with a few games in and a few games out of their boxes nothing out of the ordinary but the main reason he wanted the lot is because it had 32 and 36 in 1 Game Boy carts. Well we get the stuff in the mail and know and behold we get a 230 in 1 cart as well no label on it just a blank cartridge.
So this past couple of months have been great buying and we will be buying more in the coming months. When I get some money from school I will be going on a shopping binge for old school and pre-order Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Special Edition!! Well I hope you all enjoyed these little treasures. Keep an eye out for more blogs. Hope to make the main page someday.
hello everyone. I know we can't add Pirate carts to our game libraries but I thought I would blog about one rare one in particular. Well my brother and I did some game hunting a while back and we came across this cartridge the USA NES version of the 76-in-1 cartridge. I went home looked it up online and you can't find the NES version anywhere. The only cart on eBay was the Famicom version all in Japanese of course. Pirate carts are pretty cool they have games that hacks or they are the original versions of games released on the system. There are rumors floating around that there is an SNES or Super Famicom Pirate Cart that has a lot of games on it as well. I am going to include a picture of Dragon Ball Z 3 in the form of an SNES Cartridge. Its actually in Spanish but the game has never been released in the USA, its kind of cool. But anyways here are the pictures, enjoy and if you have any information on either one of these carts that would be useful let me know.

Hey EVERYONE! My brother and I went down to Topeka, Kansas this weekend with our parents for a little road trip. When I was working for CD Tradepost we had a "Manager's Rally" back in March. We went to visit the competition and the store we went to was called Vintage Stock a Oklahoma based company. This store was monstrous, they have old school video games to recent ones, comics, new and used dvd/blu-rays, vhs, baseball cards, clearly a fantastic hobby store. We were in there for about an hour and a half. We went through every game only looking for good deals on great titles. SO WE DID I was in the N64 section and way in the back I found it, a some what "holy grail" for the N64. This game was only a rental title and was only released in limited quantities. I once saw this game sell complete in box on eBay for $800.00 and the next item was just a cartridge and it sold for over $200.00!!! We bought this mint condition cartridge for only $12.99!!! Couldn't believe it!!! They also had a few other games and they are pictured in the first picture, but the "game hunt" game is the next photo. Hope you all enjoyed this blog with many more to come, some tomorrow (quite possibly rare NES and NES Games, and possibly a second blog of Rare Strategy guides). SO ENJOY!!!

My brother ALMOST won the Simpson's Giveaway Special Edition System. That would of been a great addition to the collection. So hope you all enjoy and I might actually post another blog tonight, maybe tomorrow. Deciding what to do next. Maybe our Rare NES Games.
ENJOY!
