Hey everyone! So Bill (Engel762) and I did some more shopping and I did some little browsing on my own. It's been a pretty good month so far Bill has picked up quite a few things to add to his growing collection as have I. IF you missed the last blog the Street Fighter Anniversary Set is so boss (little 80's talk). Bill and I hit up a few places Wednesday Morning of last week. We went Half Price Books first I didn't pick up anything but Bill did. Then we went to one Gamers store couldn't find anything much since they are doing something ridiculously stupid such as clearing out their old games which now they have chalked it up to getting rid of PS1, DC, and SS. Then we went to another Gamers and they haven't cleared out everything at this time. Bill picked up a few things and since if you buy a guide with a purchase of a game equal or great value he picked me up a Final Fantasy 3 guide for SNES and I picked up a Tray/Stand for my Red Wii (See prior blogs). Then we went to CD Tradepost and I picked up I guess it's sorta kind of "rare" gamecube game Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Then we stopped at Ben's Gaming and I picked up a few things (See list below with pictures. Then our last stop was a Pawn Shop in Council Bluffs and we both picked up a couple of NES games. Then the other day my brother and I did some browsing as well and he picked up a couple of things.

Then here is the last part my brother picked up a few comics at a local store and I bought Back To The Future CIB off eBay for $12.95-Free shipping. Then the other day I bought Doom 3: BFG Edition - Sadly disappointed I recommend to everyone unless you are a die hard Doom fan and want every thing to do with Doom DO NOT buy this.

Hey everyone today Bill and I did a little shopping a little less than what we did last week. BUT my brother and I did some shopping as well. First off we went to EZ Pawn and I picked up nothing but Bill picked up a couple PS2 games cheap. Then we went off to one of my favorite local stores and Bill picked up a Fat PS2 in box in great condition & my brother picked up some Sonic Comics and some original TMNT Comics. Then we went to another local store I like and I picked up a few boxed NES games. Then we went to CD Tradepost and picked up a couple of games there as well. It was a great day so fare and then after Bill went home will all his wonderful goodies he bought my brother and I went to lunch and then we went to Toysrus to try and find me a clearance copy of Diablo III for $10.00 but no luck  BUT then my brother and I went to Nebraska Furniture Mart hoping a game thatI wanted was still there but NO LUCK or wait maybe there is luck!! I picked up Street Fighter Collection on Xbox 360!!! This thing is pretty sweet!!!! (Keep an eye on my blog I will be posting an uboxing soon). My brother picked up Fortune Street on the Wii and Crossword Plus on the 3DS at NFM. But before we went shopping today Bill came over and checked out my SFC, N64 Japan and Famicom. Hey everyone!!! Bill (Engel762) and I did a little browsing the other day and came across some pretty sweet stuff!! (Check out his blog for his many purchase items! All at pretty good prices and a trade with me). Bill and I have been doing this about once or twice a month whenever we have the time or money. We stopped at our usual HPB and then onto Gamers (we went to all three stores in Omaha). Bill found a couple of great things like a boxed NES Super Mario Bros. for a whopping $5.00!! But for something for trade he picked me up a Halo Xbox I have been wanting one of these for YEARS!!! And well thanks to a fellow collector and friend I now have one which in trade he got a boxed Atari 2600 and a few games for Atari, and Sega Master System (Don't worry Bill we will find out a Master System complete) Also at one of the Gamers Battletoads in Battlemaniacs CIB (The Assembled in Mexico Version) . We also went to Good Bytes and I picked up Baldur's Gate II The Collection for $4.00, oh the Xbox was $40.00. The first part of the blog Bill picked some stuff up for me for the trade I mentioned earlier. Then on our final stop on the way home we went to Ben's Gaming. Then on Friday I did a little browsing with my brother (who doesn't collect retro anymore) and I picked up MY RED WIII FINALLY!!! Now is there anyone with the sleeved copies of New Super Mario Bros and Wii Sports want to sell them to me to make mine 100 % complete??? Then we went to Best Buy where my brother purchased Boarderlands 2 Collector's Guide & Kirby's Dream Collection SE. Then we went to Gamestop and I picked up Ninja Gaiden 3 Collector's Edition for Xbox 360. Yesterday I went back to HPB and I picked up Metroid Zero Mission Guide.

Hey everyone engel762 and I went on a little road trip to Lincoln, NE to hit up a few stores. Long day but we hit up both Gamers, both Game Rooms, and a nice pawn shop. Then on the way home we stopped at my favorite local video game stores and he sure picked up a great lot of things (not just here but also in Lincoln). If you want to check out his purchases check out his blog under Engel762. My brother who isn't into the classic part of the collecting anymore also picked up a few nice Wii items to add to the collection. The road trip was great even though I was exhausted from working overnight Engel and I still had a great time and it was well worth the drive and the loss of sleep in the end. I hope to continue the adventures in game hunting with my friend. So here is a rundown on the items I picked up or TRADED with Engel.

Final but not least the trade with Engel. He wanted my extra copy of Halo: Reach Hardened Edition which is new my brother just opened it to check out the stuff in it. But at our local store I found Mass Effect - Limited Collector's Edition with the Pre-Order Bonus Disc for a whopping $60.00!!! So Engel picked it up for me and we traded Halo:Reach, Mario is Missing! NES, and few other games for it. Thanks again Engel for the drive, the fun time and Mass Effect.

Hey everyone went around to a few places today and well didn't spend much but I receieved a lot of FREE goodies!!! I picked up a few SNES, Lots Genesis Boxes, one N64 box, and a few Master System Boxes. These were the wonderful first of the free items. Cool thing is I needed most of the boxes for my carts I have sitting around I also picked up a PS3 box for my 80GB system, and the Sears Tele-Games 2600 system and cart holder all for free!! Then as for my purchases I picked up B.O.B. CIB for $4.00, Game Geneie codebook for SNES for $0.95, Happy Trails Intellvision with controller inlays for $0.95, Tron Deadly Discs CB with Inlays for $0.95, and World Series Baseball Sega Saturn CIB for $1.95. Then I went to Half Price Books I picked up the "NEW Edition" Bioshock Guide fro $2.00. So here are the pictures let me know what you think. Hello everyone this is my begining of August Finds. September though could possibly be a heavy month of buying but who knows. So I am on this kick of finding cheap stuff or things at a decent price. Well last weekend I bought Kingodm Hearts 3D for a total of $5.00 I had a few giftcards from purchasing items before that and kept collecting the cards and got the game well for buying the game I got a $10.00 gift card so I practically spent nothing on the game! Then my brother (whom which doesn't collect much anymore for a lot of reasons which I respect and we are selling some stuff) he picked up a brand new copy of Monopoly Star Wars on eBay using our eBay bucks grand total he spent $4.00! Then today I went to a garage sale and picked up an NES Action Set Complete in Box for a grand total of $2.00!!!!! So I would say that is the mother of all finds in a while!!! I know own an orange zapper set and a gray zapper Action Set! So sweet!!! Also today went to a local store and picked up Assassin's Creed II Masters Edition for $17.00 sadly it is almost complete it didn't have the statue SO!!! IF THERE IS ANYONE out there that has an extra statue or want to sell there statue I would be interested Thanks. So here is the picture let me know what you guys think. The Action set is very minty fresh even the box looks pretty great.

Hey everyone my brother and I did some browsing and shopping last Saturday and today and well probably tomorrow too. Saturday we went to a neighborhood garage sale and saw nothing. Then we went out to Good Bytes and picked a few PC Games A-Train which has the 5.5 Floppy and 3 in Diskettes in it 100% complete! FOR a WHOPPING $0.99! But that's not all we also picked up Microsoft Flight Simulator (The First Release) Complete for also $0.99! We really didn't spend much on Saturday but after Good Bytes we went to HPB and we saw a few items. They had a couple of good things like a Sega, Xbox, and so on but well we had everything! BUT my brother looked up and at the top of the shelf was an Atari 2600 CIB which is a second one for us but this one was much cheaper! We got it for $20.00 and it came with 12 games some of which we didn't have sadly mostly commons. The games were:

Also at HPB we picked up Army Men PC For $7.00 and Railroad Tycoon II With the Blues CD for $5.00. So then on to today a great great day! The weather was beautiful and so was the hunt. We took some books out to HPB and as we waited until the finished and calling us up we looked around of course we went to the game section and in just 5 days they added a Sega Saturn - already have two (both versions) so pass on that. But we did however pick up Spawn PS1 for $4.00, Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast which was in the Clearance section for $0.50! We also picked up Phantom Brave for $2.00 in the Clearance section (which I think was our best purchase at HPB today), and Oregon Trail II Guide for $2.00. BUT my brother got something that isn't video game related BUT is Retro Related a stack of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Comics! at $0.50 a piece!!! Then our final stop we went to was Out "Favorite Store" I traded some movies for Adventures of Lolo COMPLETE in box which if we would of bought it it would of been $25.00 so Great deal because I got rid of some Common movies. Then with the cash from HPB we bought a very very minty copy of Tetris 2 for $15.00! We also bought Super Punch Out for $20.00 (WE NEED A MANUAL ASAP!!!) and the biggest find of the day for a whopping $40.00!!! A JUNGLE GREEN N64!! CIB everything looks BRAND NEW!!!!! Hey Everyone! In cased you missed the first blog entry of our collection a little review. My last post was all our Nintendo Items boxed (except systems will get to those later). This next blog is all our Nintendo stuff loose. It does take a lot of time to unpack everything and put it on the table all nice and neat BUT I love looking at our collection so it's all good. The first few photos are of our NES games that our loose (can you spot the "rare" or "hard to find" titles?). Then NES Extras, Famicom. Then the second set of photos will be our SNES games that are loose (again can you spot the "rare or "hard to find" games?), SNES Extras. Then Super Famicom. Then our next pictures are of Game Boy/GBC/GBA I took pictures of all the games in one Photo, then close ups for 4 more photos. Then Finally is our N64 Games, then N64 Extras. The best picks of our loose carts I would say is our Dragon Warriors 2-4 on NES, SNES would be all our RPG's most def Earthbound. Game Boy/GBC/GBA I would say Mega Man 2 or all of the Super Mario Lands. Super Famicom is Super Mario World, LOZ, Final Fantasy 4 & 5. Then for our N64 would be our Japanese carts and probably Harvest Moon and a few others. So here you go our Cart Only Nintendo Items. ENJOY! Very Picture Heavy!

Hey fellow gamers I am going to be starting a new trend blog/forum about my brother and I video game collection. The first topic will be Nintendo since it is after all our favorite and well these last few months we have added a ton of NES games in their boxes. A little background on our NES stuff when we were younger my parents through away our video game boxes and now we feel like we have to play catch up which is what we are doing BUT we also added a ton of games along the way. I have fond memories of buying our first Nintendo (the Sports Set) for $88.00 on clearance at Wal-Mart in 1992 along with a few games in their boxes (hence they were thrown away along with the Sports Set box). Collecting Nintendo stuff in general is great because there is a lot of history. Yes we have a lot Sega stuff, Playstation, and many other great items. The best piece of our NES collection I think is our sealed games, and our "rare" games, and our pristine or mint condition NES Games. I.E. Mega Man 6 (Pristine), Gargoyles Quest II (Pristine), amongst others there will be photos for everyone to see. Our best piece in our SNES collection is not boxed and won't be seen is our Earthbound - Guide and Cart, BUT boxed I would say is our sealed copies of all three Super Star Wars games. Game Boy I would say ALL of our sealed Game Boy Games but the best one of those is Ducktales 2. Game Boy Color - Sealed Lufia, GBA - All four Super Mario Advance games CIB in Mint Condition. N64 would be our boxed copies of Indiana Jones & Worms Armageddon. Gamecube would be Resident Evil 4 (Game Stop Edition), RES 2 & 3, LOZ CE & Ocarina. Wii well that's a hard one lol maybe Super Mario All-Stars Anniversary Edition. DS - All our RPGs, 3DS - None haha. SO hope you all enjoyed this little bit and here are the pictures - VERY PHOTO HEAVY!

Hey everyone not a big purchase but a nice purchase. The other day my brother received his ShopGoodwill.com purchase of SNES games. Today we purchased Solitaire complete in box and Super Mario Bros. 3 CIB. This is a good year for NES for us these two games just add to our expanding collection. We now have all three Super Mario Bros. games complete in box and in a couple of weeks we will own another copy of Super Mario Bros. 3. Here is a list of the SNES games:

Hey everyone! Yesterday my brother got a package in the mail Athletic World - Rerelase Brand New Sealed (H-Seam) he won on the bay for $25.00. Yesterday morning we went back to an indoor garage sale hoping to find some retro games but sadly she didn't have any out like she said she would...but we did pick up Glover for $0.75 and Pac-Man Puzzle Board Game for $2.00. Then we took a drive to a neighboring town to actually head home but we saw a thrit store on the way so we stopped in. I looked around in the VHS tapes just to see if there is any video game related tapes and well I found one Pokemon Headquarters tape which was given away exclusively at Toys R Us, then I went over to the glass case and saw some games in there then I called my brother over and asked him which ones I should buy. SO I purchased the ones we really needed (by far the best stuff they actually had there) I got Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil (CIB) $4.00, Fear Effect 2: Retro Helix (CIB) $6.00, and the VHS tape was a $1.00. Then we drove to Half Price Books becasue occassionally they get some really good games (they had Final Fantasy VIII import soundtrack for $50.00 A little to expensive for my taste) and we picked up LucasArts Air COmbat Classics (CIB) $10.00 (My brother got that), I purchased Quake iI Strategy Guide - $2.00, and Prince of Persia Graphic Novel Vol. 1 - $2.00. THEN we went to Goodwill and they had a ton of PC game we purchased 7th Guest (Win 95 CD Version) - $6.00, Deus Ex - $6.00, Homeworld - $8.00, Lighthouse: The Dark Being - $8.00, Shivers - $8.00 and Shivers II: Harvest of Souls - $8.00 ALL are CIB, Duke Nukem 3D - $2.00 and Casper Greatest Hits (PS1) for $2.00. Then we went an Indoor Flea Market and a store attached to it. At the Flea Market Pocahontas Genesis (CB) $2.00 (Anyone have a manual I can purchase???) , then we went to the store attached to there and purchased Police Quest Collection for $5.00 and Return to Zork - $5.00. Well that was out adventure yesterday nothing seriuously rare but a good haul none the less. Hope you all enjoy! (Sorry about the HPB picture flash over took).

First thing I would like to say THANK YOU to Jonebone & Videogamedomain. Jonebone thank you very much for the Ducktales 2 box it is perfect (well for me) and Videogamedomain thank you for the Mega Man 5 Manual (very Good condtion) and Pugsley's Manual. You two guys are great to work with and hope we can work together again someday. So to everyone else if they come to you with something buy it from them they are great. SO now on to the other purchases. I traded a copy of LOZ: Ocaraina of Time Bonus DISC since I had two for Ultima IX Dragon Edition(sorry no pictures for that) with my co-worker. My brother purchased some guides off eBay, mostly Duke Nukem Games and some Game Boy, GBC & GBA manuals, and Paperboy Complete in BOX (no picture sorry). My brother also went on Shop Goodwill and won and Intellvision 2 with games in their boxes mostly. We also purchased from a guy off another game site a Famicom 76 in 1 and a Pirate Mortal Kombat for Super Famicom. My brother went up to another city and went to an indoor Flea Market and purchased Advanced D&D Birthright on PC complete in box. Also on the bay my brother purchased Super Mario World 2 Yoshi's Island Guide. We also picked up in another city Orgeon Trail 4th Edition and Where in the USA? both from 2000 on PC. I know not much Nintendo stuff but still great purchases. So here are some pictures let me know what you think.
