Hey everyone! My brother and I did some more shopping recently at HPB and NFM. I purchased the Collector's Edition of Lord of the Rings War of the North for PS3 for $40.00 and my brother picked up quite a few PC games that range from $2.99 to $9.99 (which were all the the Advanced D&D games) from HPB and he also bought the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. I'm sorry to say I'm not exactly wowed by this particular haul. But then, I've never been really big with the medieval/RenFaire sword-and-sorcery genre, Legend of Zelda notwithstanding. Heck, I haven't watched more than five minutes of the entire LotR movies, nor have I read the books.
But after putting my personal bias aside for a bit, I'd say you made out fairly well.
BTW I take it those D&D PC games are on 3.5-inch floppies?
yes those are the 3.5 in floppies we have no intention at this time of playing them, well maybe because the only reason is we don't have a computer with a floppy drive! but o well that's what dos box is for! But D&D Games get kind of well boring.
